It’s a good hotel band the location to universal studios is great. It’s just 8 minutes walking the only bad thing about this hotel is that the housekeeping knocks the door at 8:30 am that’s not good because they woke me up and I was sleeping very pleasant and I have to get up and open the door besides that everything is ok 👍

My family & I stayed at the Hilton Universal one night to take advantage of the close location to Universal Studios. Check-in was easy as well as self-parking, especially since we are Diamond Members & the Diamond Member parking spot was open right in front of the elevators. In addition we were given $18 food credit for each adult.
It was very nice being right across the street from the entrance to Universal Studios, especially when it was raining when we left.
However, this is where the positives end. When we got back to our room from leaving the park late at night with our left-overs, we discovered our refrigerator didn't work. We ended up having to call the front desk who sent maintenance to check the refrigerator & end up having to bring back another one.
Once we were finally able to go to sleep, we were hoping to sleep in after a long, fun filled day. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. We were woken up by a leak in the bedroom window from the rain dripping over and over on the window sill. Since we upgraded our room to an Executive room, you would think this type of thing wouldn't happen. Obviously not the case.
Finally, when we checked in we were told the breakfast buffet ends at 10:30am. So when we showed up at 9:40am and requested the breakfast buffet, you can imagine our frustration when we were told it ended at 9:30am.
At this point I was forced to go talk to a manager. Thankfully I was connected with Kevin, the front desk manager, who helped remedy the the problems with our stay. As much as we would like to no have had any problems, at least Kevin was sympathetic and helped to rectify the problems we encountered.
In the end it was nice staying at the Hilton Universal mainly due to the location, not due to the facilities or exceptional staff (besides Kevin).

We stayed at the Hilton for a Universal Studios trip. The location was excellent, they offer a shuttle to the park but it's really not needed the park is so close. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and views were beautiful from our room. The reason I am giving 2 stars is due to the 18% "facility fee" they charge for any on site restaurant service/room service. The fine print states it's a "tip free" hotel and the "fee" is not for staff but for the resort for administrative costs. This is absolutely ridiculous, insulting to the servers and greedy on the part of the hotel. I spoke with the servers and other guests, seems the only one in favor of this fee is management. So I ended up tipping on top of a facility fee, bill came out so high to eat that I wouldn't stay at the hotel again just for this reason. We enjoy eating on site when we stay at a hotel but not for these prices and I wouldn't support a hotel that doesn't support their workers.

We stayed 3 nights while enjoying Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. We had a King bedroom room w sofa. 2363. View was amazing w windows long the whole side of the room. The bed was sooo comfortable n squishy it was hard to get out of!!! Staff was super nice. Gal that made us our drinks on Sunday 10/26 at the pool (Matrine spelling bad sorry) was so cool. I called her " The drink goddess" Because she made the best drinks we've ever had. Not only great tasting the presentation was second to none!!! Every morning we had a complimentary continental breakfast that was really awesome! Had to eat it in the restaurant there n not get it n go up to your room. But it was worth it. No one cared if u just woke up... lol
I could nit pick a few things but honestly not woth it because overall we really loved staying there!!! Oh n walk Universal Studios is not to bad. We tried to ride the shuttle 1x but it got there n it was full by time it got to us. We just walked after that.

We got in early in the day and paid for parking over at Universal not realizing how insanely close the hotel was to universal studios. If you have a family, or even if you are just going to universal as an adult, I would 100% recommend this location. It's a very short walk (less than 2 minutes) to where the parking garage is for universal. You literally walk across the street and bam, you are there. Location gets 10 stars for sure! It's easy in and out parking and super easy to get on the interstate. The extra fees that you have to pay at this hotel were a bit high in my opinion, but again, the location makes up for it. The rooms weren't as nice as I was expecting. I was a bit disappointed in the upkeep of the room, for instance little details like dirty grout in the bathroom, the beds were OK but not great, things like that. The hotel over all was clean and had many convivences like a gift shop, a starbucks and a restaurant on the first floor. I'm giving this hotel 5 stars simply due to the location and added connivence. Comfort wise in the room, I'd set expectations appropriately and would give it 4 stars.
