A really great hotel if you want to ski Heavenly. It's not really around anything, so not much of a nightlife, but if you're cool is to wake up in the morning, get the first lift, ski, and then walk back to your hotel in 2 and 1/2 minutes. This is the spot for you. Valet parking, ballet ski check., the price of the amenity fee which is the first time I'll ever say was worth it. The rooms were large, immaculately clean and perfect for a family.
Old and rusty rooms but spacious. The staff induced us to join the session to listen in the “pitch” to enrol for Hilton vacation club. Promise was $200 no obligations credit. As a gullible tourist we spent 1.5 hours to listen in to why it makes sense to join the club but the moment we started talking financial logic and comparing prices to hotels available on various platforms, the guy had no answer and pretending scrambling to make his computer work. I think they need to train their sales team to talk real depth with numbers rather than narrate stories. But I guess they have no choice when they’re selling something which makes no financial sense after listening to his story (that’s my personal view). Anyways, the disappointment for us was that the front desk took the voucher of $200 and said you are all set!!
When we asked for the bill the answer was you will get it in email. I kept waiting but no email with bill and suddenly I see a charge on my card without any credit. Now started the chase with emails and multiple calls which kept tossing between one department to thee other !!!
I did not lose patience despite spending my Christmas holidays to catch these cheats. Finally one person responded on email (Natalie Diaz). However after I gave her all the facts, she just stopped responding (am I surprised !!).
It’s sad and a bitter experience dealing with Hilton and their very poor ethics. I did not expect that from a large company like Hilton.
Calling this out so others can watch out.
Awesome stay in every regard. The front desk staff are some of the best I have experienced. They are friendly, responsive, and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The rooms are phenomenal and spotless. I loved the access to the grills. Valet staff were super but I did not have to use my car very much due to the proximity to Heavenly. Would not hesitate to return and will do so. Much Thanks for as great stay.
We come up for start of ski season each year for the past 4 years.
The hotel location is great for easy access to Heavenly, Himmel Haus, and short drive to Heavenly village.
The staff and service are excellent, and the facilities themselves are well kept and we enjoy using the lobby to hangout, enjoy the fireplaces, the TVs, the pool and hot tub, etc.
That said, this is 2-3 years in a row where the room we check into has a HORRIBLE mattress. I wish I had taken a photo this time... You could actually SEE the wear in the mattress from the fully made bed!
We asked for an extra foam pad and re-made the entire bed (which we've done in past years) and it was simply unacceptable this time.
It felt like we were sleeping in a pit that your body kept falling into. Horrible experience.
Please get new mattresses.

we stayed in this hotel for thanksgiving and had much fun and was in the top 4 best hotels in my life.
We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a room with a sofa bed and a TV with a few tables, a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave, a sink but no stove
,a bathroom with two basins, a shower, and a toilet.
, a bedroom with a closet inside a safe and a heater/campfire, two lamps, windows and a fluffy bed with a mattress. I noticed after some time, there was music playable on the TV. But we did not use it or hear it. I noticed the water pressure was low, not so bad but wished it was a little higher during showers. The room was very spacious and very tidy. My grandmother said the mattress was distracting her from her sleep but not me.
The service was good, staffs was very nice and kind. The concierge gave city maps and provided kettles for us. The parking was valet only, making us not needing to find a parking space ourselves but waiting when crowded was not my favorite. Also, I thought personally check out was a bit early except for me and my grandmother only because we were a morning person, more active in morning and waking up early.my mom and dad, night people was having a hard time making it to the front desk by 10.
The location was nice and made me less stressed when I opened the curtains and looked outside in the morning. It was very quiet and I liked it because I am more introverted than extroverted.
I am sure to convince my parents back to this hotel.
