Courtney & Gerry really showed off their hospitality when it mattered. This resort has great amenities and very nice deluxe rooms. Our only real complaints are the $27 daily valet parking and the beds that are on the firmer side. I would highly recommend staying for a night. If you get lost, remember the resort is shaped like an H!

We need a wheelchair accessible room. The first room was for hearing impaired. The resort was awesome and found something that would work for us but the main room didn’t have the roll in shower. We had to prop open both room A and B so my husband could wheel into the studio to use the rest room and shower. The main room had a fill kitchen but was so tight for his chair to get around. Even after we rearranged the kitchen table. The place was very nice. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. There was a lift at both hot tubs and one inside and outside for the pool. I am sure we will be staying again. Will definitely make sure we have the right type of room.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff (except for the valets) were rude and dismissive and acted like we were bothering them when we asked them questions. For a "resort" hotel, they certainly didnt have any resort type amenities. We have been so excited to go and learn more about the membership opportunities because, when we travel, we always stay in a Hilton or one of its affiliates. Yeah, it sucked. A/C in the room didn't work so the hotel sent up a mechanic, I think.... because the next night it was so hot my husband and I couldn't sleep in the same bed. There were absolutely no places to lounge and enjoy a quiet morning with coffee and a book in the room or in the lobby lounge area because all of the chairs were gone. However, there was the option to sit in the lumpy chairs in the dining area. Overall, this hotel is a let down. If all of the hilton resorts are like this, then I'm not sure purchasing a package with them is in our future.

I stayed here with quite a few of my family and friends for my wedding. Overall, the hotel and the experience were quite good. However, there were some glaring problems that need to be addressed, specifically with the parking, and some of the in-room amenities. First off, we NEED to talk about the parking situation. The valet situation is unacceptable for the amount that is being paid. 27$ per day (at time of writing) with no option to self-park. If the valet worked perfectly, and if you had the option to select or decline it, it would not be the worst thing in the world. However, it never worked as promised, and this was the off season, so I cannot begin to consider what goes on when things are more busy. This is a non-exhaustive list of things that happened to either me, or the family and friends that were in-town for the wedding: -Lines that were 10 cars deep to drop cars off (either dropping off the car while staying, or prior to checking in) -Wait times upwards of 40 minutes for retrieving a car (the ticket asks to give 15 minutes of lead time for getting a car). This occurred at all hours of the day during many days of the week, not just during times where it would be expected to be busy -A car was ‘lost’ in the parking lot without explanation (I looked at the parking garage used for the valet service, and it’s a small two-story lot, so I don’t know how a car was lost) -A one hour wait time almost made a guest miss the wedding -My mother called ahead for her car, was told she used the wrong procedure for requesting a car, and only after standing up for herself and explaining that the valet situation would make her miss the wedding did the attendant inform her that the car was ready all along -Valet attendants were not prepared to drive a stick-shift, which caused a long delay (I understand it’s less common, but they still exist, and this should not mean that someone cannot get their car) -General dismissive and sarcastic attitude (“Any other requests that you deign to give me?” was said to me directly, as a specific example) I don’t know if it is a service that the hotel has contracted with, or what the situation is, but in a situation in which this is the only option for guests to park, this is truly unacceptable. The valet became a running joke, and people built in far more time than was quoted as necessary for even having a chance of doing what they needed to do on time. The lack of professionalism and consistency runs the risk of ruining the reputation of the hotel. I do not know what a fix could be, but something needs to be done. Amenities: Very good. Pool is solid, restaurant and bar are somewhat small, but well appointed, and the pricing is not egregious for being in Tahoe. Grills and lawn games are a nice touch.
