I stayed at this hotel for New Year’s and the stay itself was lovely. However, I became very sick afterward due to what I believe was food cross contamination at breakfast.
The omelet bar offers vegan/vegetarian options, but staff used the same spatula for all omelets, including those with meat. Also, items that appeared vegetarian, like the potatoes, were being served with the same tongs/utensils as pork sausage. When I asked an employee about it, I was told it was fine, but for anyone with dietary restrictions, this is not acceptable.
Later that evening I was vomiting nonstop and ended up having to go to urgent care for medication.
I really like this hotel chain and wanted to return in the future, but after this experience I do not feel comfortable taking the chance again.
I read all the negative reviews and prepared myself to be disappointed … however, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room is fantastic. It’s clean, tidy and no issues. The only thing which is stopping me from giving 5 stars is the ‘mandatory’ $15 per night charge that becomes a use it or lose it $15 food and beverage credit. I’m being forced to spend $15? It shouldn’t be necessary, this hotel is good enough to stand on its own without gimmicks.

We bought this trip last minute with another family, but we were very pleased with our stay. The included breakfast was actually quite delicious fresh made to serve omelette bar and delicious options. Really happy they extended their holiday hours until 10 AM during our time. The front staff was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. It was nice that we got a $15 credit each night that we stayed despite finding out it is $20 per night for parking. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool, which is next to the gym, conveniently. It was definitely a great day and we will be back.

This review is for dining experience only.
We had an absolutely extraordinary dining experience from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully executed—from the warm welcome upon arrival to the impeccable timing and presentation throughout the meal. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor, making the entire evening feel both elevated and memorable.
A special recognition goes to George, who managed the dining room with true excellence. His professionalism, attentiveness, and eye for detail were evident at every moment. George ensured the dining room ran seamlessly, anticipated guest needs before they were even expressed, and created an atmosphere that was both refined and genuinely welcoming. His leadership and hands-on approach made a noticeable difference in the overall experience.
This was hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended.

A disappointing fall from grace.
I have been coming to Embassy Suites for most of my life. It has always been a nice experience because of the quality of the rooms, included breakfast, and mangers reception. I understand that times are tough, and that prices go up. I am willing to enjoy a reasonable price increase for the luxury provided. Tonight was a new low for my experience. The managers reception was decent enough, chips and salsa, veggies, ranch, trail mix. There were not enough serving utensils, and the items did not get refilled. Strike 1. The drinks were decent, they have always been well drinks so my expectations were reasonably low. I was told that a Moscow mule or any cocktail other than a Mai Tai or Margarita would be an extra charge. This is a pretty significant departure from our other experiences. Strike 2. The real dig, what drove me to write this review was what the bartender told me. When I ordered a margarita, I asked for salt, a pretty standard thing for a margarita. I was told that SALT, IS NOT PART OF THE MANAGERS RECEPTION. Salt, of all the things to pull is so cheap, inexpensive and flavor enhancing to a margarita that I was shocked that they would even offer to serve a margarita on the managers reception if they actively chose to deny salt. Why? I don’t personally understand and I’m sure they have their reasons, but it really speaks to the drop in quality. It seems like it’s time to move on.
