Service and food is great. But completely not like the pictures online. The rooms and bathrooms are really small and old. Beds are not queen but full size. Room has a back door that opens to parking lot. Feels super unsafe. Spiders in the room. Won’t come back again.

We had a fabulous experience at lunch today. My family, who live locally came to join us at the restaurant, there were 13 of us, and our waitress Simone was outstanding!

This is the best hotel to hook up at. People who work there are not in your business. At Hotel E in Santa Rosa, I was asked: “What is the purpose of your visit?” Hotels that train their employees to ask that are stupid. At The Flamingo, the rooms are organized in arms. A map of the place looks like an octopus. So when the front desk gives you a map and explains how to find your room, pay attention.
You can go straight to your room, which has been re-modeled in a mid-century style, or enjoy the restaurant. It’s very good.
In the morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find an excellent black tea bag. There is a kettle, so I brewed up a cup of tea that was delicious. I need caffeine in the morning. This had it. Most hotels don’t have such good tea. I just called the hotel to ask about the tea. It’s called Upper Case Tea. I’m going to find out if I can buy it.
There is shopping and restaurants very nearby. You can easily walk there.

Flamingo Hotel - Avoid This Place! Downgraded Room, Filthy Conditions, Zero Soundproofing
We booked a suite at the Flamingo Hotel specifically for our family of four (two adults and two children) because we needed the separate sleeping areas. Upon arrival, the nightmare began.
Despite our confirmed reservation, we were told all suites were sold out and were downgraded to a standard room. They claimed the room was newly renovated, but the maintenance was appalling. The room was dirty and absolutely not worth what we paid. The bathroom was disgusting - completely unacceptable conditions.
The lack of separation between sleeping areas was exactly what we had tried to avoid by booking a suite. Even worse, the soundproofing was non-existent. We could hear every single footstep and slight movement from the guests upstairs. The noise was constant and made it impossible for our children to sleep properly throughout our stay.
A "new" room means nothing when there's no proper insulation between floors, basic cleanliness is ignored, and maintenance is neglected. The Flamingo Hotel oversold their rooms, failed to honor our reservation, and provided substandard, filthy accommodations with paper-thin walls and floors.
If you're traveling to Santa Rosa with family, I strongly urge you to stay away from the Flamingo Hotel. Look elsewhere - you deserve better than sleepless nights and dirty rooms.
