- NBNino B.Sep 13, 20254.0Stayed here on our road trip back from Southern California. The hotel was newly renovated and had a soft opening for the first week as a Hilton property. The one elevator closest to our room was inoperative. It was not easy pushing a janky luggage cart to the opposite end of the hotel wing to use the only functioning elevator. That second elevator was not updated and was creaking I was hoping not to get stuck in it. Half the hotel was still not renovated and in a darker color scheme of the previous Holiday Inn. It was kind of creepy walking through the old hallway. Once we got to the newer hallway and into the room, we appreciated the lighter interior colors of Homewood Suites. Our two double room studio still had a full kitchen and we were able to warm up soup to go with a light evening meal. Breakfast in the morning was a bit unorganized but they only had one guy preparing and serving the food. In general, the staff were great and did their best to make things right as the hotel was still in startup mode. Additionally, I hope the clientele at this hotel improves because someone shamefully allowed their dog to defecate in the hallway. Management needs to charge an extra fee for having pets or just keep them on the first floor altogether. Overall, this will be a nice place to stay once they work out the issues with activating a new hotel.

We stayed for nine nights and had several issues with our room, including broken appliances and dirty floors. Junior was incredibly helpful and always cheerful. He worked so hard and did his very best to resolve every problem. He truly went above and beyond, and we are so thankful we met him during our stay. As for management, they also took our concerns seriously and did their best to make things right. Thanks to their efforts, we will likely be back.
