Parking was a disaster. I chose Hilton over the other hotels on the block because they have self parking in a dedicated garage. I was able to prepay for it as if it was a reservation, a guarantee. The evening of my check in, at around 6pm, i used my key to enter the garage. It was full. A few minutes later i exited. I had to drive around to look for a different garage not affiliated with Hilton. I was still charged for the $45 parking fee. I requested a refund on live customer service chat. Their rep said they are unable to refund me due to my card being scanned. I said to look at my enter/exit time stamps which proves I did not park in there. The rep still refused. So i threatened an escalated complaint and they finally agreed to refund me. It was a very scammy behavior by Hilton on this matter, not to mention the false sense of parking guarantee led to being late for the show i was attending.
Also, the heater in the room did not work. Only cold air came out of the unit. We had the option of cold air vs fan off and being able to hear each other breathe and fart. It was a cold sleep.

Good service and food was tasty. The price was too expensive as the portion was small.

I come to San Jose for business and watch Niners play and each time I come I’m treated like family. Antonio at the front desk has been more than helpful with all my needs and Urvashi (the manager) is the most kind and welcoming person I’ve met in the hospitality industry. Thank you both for as I look forward to stay here each time I visit San Jose and will recommend this stay for sure.

Best Stay at Hilton San Jose
I had an amazing stay at Hilton San Jose, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception was outstanding—Urvashi was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. She made check-in seamless and went above and beyond by upgrading me to a suite with an amazing view, which made the stay extra special.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view from the suite was absolutely beautiful. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, courteous, and eager to help, providing excellent service throughout my stay.
This was by far one of my best Hilton experiences, and I highly recommend Hilton San Jose to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay. I will definitely be coming back!

It’s always nice coming here as much as I do. The staff is so warm, friendly, hospitable and just makes us feel welcome after long days of work/travel. They are all great as I’ve seen pretty much all of them in action. I will say that at the front desk I have the pleasure of mostly seeing Antonio and Paul. We already have a rapport with each other and crack jokes and have a great laugh when we see each other. Antonio remembers past interactions, requests and asks how the rest of my team is doing.
I also had a problem with my uniform dress (I had an undershirt) when the zipper was stuck. I came downstairs and asked a guest for help, but she had no luck, than Terry at the front desk tried to help but no luck, he gave me a tool and I was able to zip it in the restroom on my own. I was very appreciative for his help!
The restaurant/Bar/lounge area is cozy and has the right amount of lighting. I enjoy the food here and we also love that so many things are walkable here so you won’t have trouble finding a place to eat.
I’ve never been able to see a show here but the Theater is nearby and there’s always something going on in this town.
The rooms are always clean, updates and comfortable, which is very important to me.
Thank you for always accommodating and welcoming us in as we are away from home.
