I’m a Hilton Diamond member and I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties, but Hilton San Gabriel has one of the most disappointing parking setups I’ve seen. They charge every hotel guest ten dollars a day to park. This is San Gabriel. Every mall and plaza in the area offers free parking, yet this hotel charges and still can’t manage the spaces.
The rooms are slightly dated, which I can live with, but the parking situation is unacceptable. There’s a Chinese restaurant on the property and their customers flood the lot on weekends. They don’t pay for parking and they take all the front spaces, including the Diamond reserved spots. Hotel guests end up pushed underground or all the way in the back.
It’s terrible service and it feels like hotel guests are the last priority. I hope management fixes this because it’s not what Diamond members expect from Hilton.

Would rate no stars if I could. Room was roach infested and smelled like smoke. Initially the hotel did not want to give me a refund at all but at the end they did give a partial refund . Would highly recommend NOT choosing to stay here. Really disappointed that this was at a hilton hotel.

I stayed at the Sheraton for several months without anything being stolen, so I only stayed at the Hilton for three days. After three days, I wanted to extend my stay but was told it was fully booked. It turned out that in just three days, my Chanel bag, Hermes necklace, and Cartier diamond ring were all stolen by the hotel cleaning staff. They had the opportunity to enter my room and steal because I forgot to put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Is this the kind of quality your employees are?! They sneaked in during the day when guests weren't around, covered their valuables with towels and sheets, and stole them!
