Top notch, security team very welcoming, cool guys. The staff will smile and welcome you all day but if you need something that could prove to be problematic as it was for me . on the first night, I asked for an iron after hours. I was told that I could get one in the morning After the time that I started work and it would be delivered, but I should have a steamer in the room. There was no steamer in the room and the next day my request for an iron was not fulfilled so I went to work with wrinkle shirts all week. The other downer was that they don’t have a microwave either in the room or in a community kitchen area. I needed some food warmed and a staff member went to the kitchen and warmed it up for me. However, on the last night of my stay I needed some food warmed up rather late, and the staff member told me that they couldn’t go to the kitchen to warm up my food for me. To say that I was disappointed that I had to ask for my food to be warmed and could not while in a hotel that charges over $200 a night is an understatement. The room itself was very clean, cute and quaint. I enjoyed the roof top bar and the service there was good although i did not like the automatic 20% gratuity charge. I like to tip based on the quality of the service and when a waitress is slow to serve and then you find an automatic gratuity charge, it makes one wonder if there is a correlation.

This hotel was probably 1 of the absolute WORST hotels I have ever stayed at. 1: The room was eh because it felt very stuffy 2: The bed’s & pillows were absolutely HORRIBLE the beds felt way to squishy to the point it felt like I was sinking into them & the pillows were just so uncomfortable to the point it hurt & cramped my neck 3: Last but not least the bathroom wasn’t really handicap accessible even though the staff said it was it really wasn’t & it was very cramped & hard to put my wheelchair somewhere so it wouldn’t be in the way in the room. Me & my family are NEVER coming back to this hotel EVER AGAIN🙅🏼‍♀️

I stayed here when it was still The Line about 1.5 year ago and you wouldn't think you could tell such a difference, but...well...it's clear that Hilton bought this property. Everything is just now...slightly worse. Don't get me wrong, it's generally fine if you want a sort of boutique vibe, but like Hilton clearly doesn't want to invest in what The Line designed this place to be and it's if you ever stayed here before. Everything is just sort of, and comically, not right. If you have a room facing the streets, it is loud. Nonstop loud. It was ignorable enough to sleep (as someone who's only lived in big cities) but someone was blaring music at 6:30a and if you need something restful, peaceful, this ain't it. The tubs are deep and clean and that's why I booked here. Otherwise, I don't know if I would recommend this hotel anymore. There are others that are in better areas that maybe aren't as new but at least you can walk outside. (I also had a disappointing situation where I paid for an upgrade to my room and walked in and the couch and bench by the bed were stained, couch coated in dog hair, human hairballs floating around the floor- enough so that I was peeling it off my socks- and it just felt grimy. I complained and they restored my original room reservation, but I wouldn't EVER upgrade here after that experience. New room was perfectly clean.)

After my review the manager has left a response saying you focus on the things in your control. There are lots that they don’t. Like the cowshed products that you fill the bottles with the same liquid (not cowshed). Or that my room had already been slept in when I checked in, someone had drunk all the waters and left them out. Your team offered to put me in a room on the 3rd floor on the corner of the busiest homeless camp that had police turn up to disturbances in the night. This is not a hotel doing a good job Justin. The safety is just the one thing that is fundamentally an issue and why I’ve told our company travel agent not to recommend to employees staying in the city that are unfamiliar with walking past people injecting drugs on the street by your hotel (while being charged something like $50 for homeless cleanup because your hotel is in a terrible location )! Please follow up this one - and this time if you’re going to say you focus on things in your control then don’t talk about world class museums of SF. Location is in your control. Safety is in your control.

11/4/25 I visit SF often for work, staying at various Hilton properties in the area. They have the nicest rooms I've seen yet. Everything else is bad. Unsafe location. I should have checked that ahead of time. Assumed it would be better because it's a Curio. Service is also pretty bad. When my room was cleaned today, the made the bed and took my dirty towels. DID NOT REPLACE THEM. I let them know I was completely out of wash cloths and they sent up more towels... No wash cloths... I let them know and they NEVER RESPONDED. I'm booked here again next week and unfortunately I'm within the window where I can't cancel and get my money back. After that, never ever again. I'm sure I'll have more to report after this stay and the next. Will report back. 11/6/25 They did finally respond to my request for more washcloths and said my room would be cleaned and they would be delivered. I left for the day and returned to a room that was never cleaned at all and still not washcloths. They gave me 20k points to compensate. While I'm thankful for the points and the free can of Diet coke that came with it, I'm not yet willing to change my review. Will be checking out shortly. Will continue to report back on my experience.
