We just checked in from a long day of traveling. When we pulled back the sheets there were blood spots on the sheets and the other bed had hair and the sheets were dirty. I went to the front desk and all the manager did was comp our parking. We waited another 40 minutes for room service to come clean the room.

We had a good experience but the parking is ridiculous. It’s 75 dollars a night to park. You can’t park on the street unless you want to get robbed but you’re getting robbed anyway by the hotel. It’s pricey for the room you’re staying in. I’m sure there’s better hotels near by. Great bars nearby though.

What happened at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable and honestly shocking for a brand like Hilton. From the very first day, the service was poor. At check-in, the front desk receptionist was extremely rude, cold, and unprofessional. We do not speak English fluently, which is completely normal in an international hotel, and she made no effort whatsoever to help us communicate: no patience, no speaking more slowly, no empathy at all. Her attitude made it feel as if she was annoyed that we didn’t understand her. What truly crossed the line happened on the day of departure. Around 5:00 PM, while we were waiting for our Uber in the hotel lobby to go to the airport, we experienced something that has never happened to me while traveling, and I have visited more than 40 countries. A woman who was clearly under the influence of drugs, and who had been sleeping on one of the lobby sofas, woke up and, while we were having a coffee a few seats away, took my coat from behind, which I had resting on the chair next to me, and walked off with it. My husband had to run after her and physically take it back from her hands. All of this happened inside the hotel lobby, in front of other guests and hotel staff. As if this were not serious enough, minutes later another individual, also clearly under the influence of drugs, entered the hotel and wandered freely throughout the entire lobby, the restaurant, and the Cloud lounge area right next to the entrance, without any form of control or intervention. What is most outrageous is that no one from the front desk staff did absolutely anything. No intervention, no call to security, no concern shown for guests’ safety. The clear impression was that this type of situation is completely normalized, something that may be common in this city, but is utterly unacceptable inside a Hilton hotel. The sense of insecurity was total, even in broad daylight and inside the hotel itself. A complete lack of control, professionalism, and respect for guests. A shameful experience for a hotel of this category. I will never return and would not recommend it to anyone.
