    Great experience staying here. I have been here twice and will probably stay again in the near future. Perfect walking distance to anything worthwhile in downtown Riverside. Worst part is the parking situation.

    Steer clear!!! Get this... if the room doesn't sense you moving in the room every 15 minutes (and yes, the hotel confirmed this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) then it shuts down all electricity in the room. Watching a movie in bed? Too bad, it's over! Want AC or heat at night while you sleep? Can't have it. I KID YOU NOT! Apparently the hotel was built this way as an "energy saver". I've stayed in 1000 hotels all over the world and never experienced this. California is wonderful... yes, said with sarcasm.

    Beautiful hotel but.... Ready for this. They have motion sensors that turn off the power, TV and Air conditioning while you're in the room. Was told by the front desk nothing they can do. So at night you will not be able to watch TV, read or have cool air unless you walk around the room in constant motion. INSANITY!

    From out of state Visiting for a wedding.We had double queen size room. There was no table in the room. So we went to the lobby to visit and play some games with family we haven’t seen in years. While playing they turned the lights off on us and refused to turn them back on. 2 of our family smoke so asked where the smoking area was outside and even took a bottle with a little water to put the butts in so as not to be disrespectful and keep it clean. They said that was not allowed even though security had told us 2 days before that was where they should be smoking and had been doing so for 2 days pre iously. Security even argued with the evening desk clerk and they said no to him. They would rather send their guest out where homeless people and transients walk by than care about the safety of their guests. We weren’t bothering anyone and we weren’t loud. They were totally rude and could care less.
