We reserved a room block here for our Los Altos wedding and it was all-around fantastic! The guests loved the rooms and the breakfast, and the Director of Sales, Tom, was so flexible and helpful in allowing us to host our welcome party here on Friday night. Would recommend this hotel to any out-of-town visitors in the future!

We booked this hotel because it stated that there was a manager's reception every Wednesday and it was Christmas Eve. However when we got there, there was no reception because the staff went home. They served cold coffee and baked goods that was moldy! Every day, they make coffee but serve it 3 hours later so the coffee is cold. The biggest problem was that we booked a suite with a pullout sofa bed. Housekeeping put us in a room with a separate bedroom without a pull out sofa bed, one king bed and I had my kids with us. I found this out at around 8pm when I tried to make the sofa bed. They offered another room with 2 queens. I asked them if I could just have a room beside them since it was their mistake but they said "No, I couldn't have another room for free!" This wasn't for free - they made the mistake so on Christmas Eve, it is the least they could do. But noooo, they made us repack everything and on Christmas Eve at 9pm, we had to move all of our stuff to the room with 2 queen beds and the rooms weren't that close to each other. I tried to speak to the manager a couple of times but they were never around. They left a young girl who looked to be 20 years old and with absolutely no authority to do anything in charge of the hotel for almost a week! I called them when I got back home and of course, the managers did not return my phone call. When I booked the hotel, I was on the fence about going to another hotel but the reason I booked this was the suite and also the manager's reception which I didn't get either. They also advertised some special snacks with the football game on Thursday, Dec. 25th but there was nothing. Why would you bother advertising this if you know you aren't going to offer it? You get the customers in but this is a very, very dishonest move on your part! There are lots of hotels along this road so I wouldn't waste your money on this hotel. The customer service is absolutely terrible!

Our stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Palo Alto was excellent. I stayed with my wife and son in a newly renovated first-floor room that was perfect for a family. The suite included a sofa bed, a full kitchen with a cooktop, dishwasher, full-size fridge, and all the utensils and dishware needed to prepare simple meals. The hotel was spotless and conveniently located near Target, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety each day—eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit, and cereal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and even provided takeout containers so we could bring food for our child later. On site parking is free, and the garage had free EV charging with four Tesla plugs, and two J1772 connectors (one of which was temporarily out of service). Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Mountain View.

It is a nice place to have a long stay, as you get a mini kitchen and the possibility to wash clothes at an extra fee. My only grudge is that cleaning will not come to make your bed, take the bin out and change towels, when we ask at reception to have the room made, we got a very dismissive and tired member of staff who told us we had to request the room to be made on a daily basis and one day in advance. For the charges of this hotel, I expected better service and definitely better customer services. The message in the room say they will clean the room, but during our stay, the room was not cleaned or the beds made. Very disappointing

ROACHES!! Beware of this hotel, seems very good on paper, but it’s a highly unhygienic place. They don’t keep the place clean - and staff is unhelpful, rude and extremely difficult to talk with. Wouldn’t recommend this at all.
