Everything was good, except the carpet smelt like feet and the pillows smelt like dirty hair. Needs replacing I think.

Nice, newer hotel. Friendly staff. This hotel is bordered by I-40 on one side and the Needles Hwy on the other. Don’t let this deter you from staying here. Our room was on the first floor on the Needles Hwy side and it was surprisingly quiet. Traffic really slowed down by around 9pm, on a Friday night! We primarily stay at Hampton Inns and this was by far the nicest refrigerator we’ve ever found in any hotel. It actually has a freezer separate from the basic fridge part (just like you’d have at home). It was so nice to be able to freeze our freezer bags and be ready for the next days travel. This hotel was a welcomed rest after driving across the Mojave Desert all day long.

The faucets, shower floor and doors were filthy and had hair on the bathroom floor. I reported it to the front desk and was told that a new housekeeping crew was in training. The corporate office was called and I was awarded sufficiently.

This hotel was clean, the service was much to be desired. When we went to check in there were no cart for our luggage. When we enquires the clerk said she told a guess she could have the 2 carts, that she only had 8 guests left to check in. That was not exceptable. One guest does not need more then one cart as they can only push one at a time. It does not matter how long they stayed. We ended up getting one of the carts after the clerk called, but had to wait almost a hour to get it. We were tired after traveling all day. Would not go to this hotel again. Seems Hampton customer service has gone downhill.
