We’re on Mother’s Beach in Marina del Rey, less than a mile from Venice Beach and Venice Canals. Loyola Marymount University is within three miles and we’re 15 minutes from Downtown Santa Monica. Los Angeles International Airport is six miles away. Some of our rooms have balconies with ocean views and our heated indoor pool overlooks the marina.

- JJJayNov 8, 20252.0I was very disappointed with this hotel and certainly wouldn't consider it a 4-star hotel. The check in was smooth but that woman clearly hates her job. The rooms have paper thin walls and I heard every sneeze, laugh, step taken, and toilet flushed from several rooms around me. The bathroom amenities were seriously lacking. I had dessert and a cocktail and would NOT recommend the restaurant based on that. The ice cream was super low quality and the lava cake was simply a warmed up frozen thing you can get at any cheap grocery store. Overall, this was not a good choice when there are several others at this price point. Sure, the lobby smells nice but that's about where the positive stops. One stand out was the hostess at the restaurant. She was so kind and funny.

- DCdea croseOct 17, 20251.0I would not recommend a stay here. The workers protest regularly every two weeks. Because it’s on a public beach, the hotel can’t do anything about this. The protesters are beating drums and yelling into a megaphone. This disruption makes it impossible to enjoy the beach, the restaurant and the stay. We immediately checked out and Hilton is giving us a very hard time about refunding points. This debacle of a situation cut into our vacation time and plans. I will never stay here or recommend this to anyone else.

Resort at its best, beautiful landscape, and don't get my started with the staff. They are Amazing. I literally received 5 text messages, asking how my stay is going, and if there was anything they could do in give me a greater experience. Seriously! So attentive. I could not ask for a better experience. Beachside cafe. Food is fabulous, the ambience is spectacular. If you are in Marina Del Rey this is your spot. No, I am not getting paid to say this. Thank you so much to Jamaica Bay Inn for your hospitality.
