The actual stay was nice, my wife and I stayed for 2 nights to attend at funeral near the hotel. However, after we checked out, the next day they charged my CC an additional $800 that I gave them for my check in deposit. When I called to ask why they were running my card as I thought it must have been an error. I was informed that I was responsible to pay for hidden room damages that my wife and I did not do. I have reached out to the hotel multiple times to get this resolved and asked for photos multiple times. They are unresponsive and refuse to send me the photos. When I do speak with the manager Alberto, he keeps telling me that a structural engineer needs to be involved and that basically I'm responsible for the damage. Stay away from this place. They are obviously thieves. But again, it is California! They will rip you off if you give them your CC

Please read recent reviews before booking this hotel.
Yes, the location is convenient for SoFi Stadium events. That is the only positive I can give at this point. I have stayed here multiple times since the hotel opened a few years ago, but after this most recent visit, we will not be returning.
First, the hotel changed its name on the building, yet everywhere online still lists it as The Lum. Google, major travel sites, and review platforms have not been updated. Multiple guests were visibly frustrated because they drove past the property several times, assuming they were at the wrong place. Given how poor the reviews are, this rebrand feels more like an attempt to distance themselves from past feedback rather than improve the guest experience.
Second, the front desk experience was unacceptable. The woman working the desk came across as rude and dismissive. While I understand she is likely dealing with upset guests all day, that does not excuse the lack of professionalism. Many guests were shocked to learn at check in that parking costs $55 per night.
Third, the parking situation is completely unreasonable. I was informed that I needed to pay over $120 per night for parking because my vehicle was classified as oversized. I drive a stock Ram 1500. It is not oversized and is the same exact truck I have brought on previous stays without issue. It fits in one standard parking spot, yet I was charged nearly double. My parking ended up costing almost as much as my nightly room rate, which is unacceptable.
Fourth, while the rooms are visually nice, they are extremely small for the price being charged.
Fifth, this hotel sits directly under a flight path. The noise is constant and unavoidable. This is not really a complaint on my end because we know this when we purchased. Just a note for those who have not stayed before.
Sixth, despite being only a few years old, the hotel is once again under construction. Guests are woken up early by remodeling noise. It raises serious questions about management and planning when a property this new is already being redone.
This hotel relies entirely on location while nickel and diming guests at every turn. The lack of transparency, excessive fees, and poor service have made it clear that this is not a place we will stay again.

One thing interesting happened after checking out in a few days. I found someone used my credit card to purchase 1k ticket of a concert from Ticketmaster. I only use this credit card recently for the deposit in the hotel, and the concert is just across the street, what a coincidence. Fortunately my bank automatically decline the transaction so I don’t need to worry but just change a new card. But just feel curious, and I feel interesting. Anyway room is good.
Severe flooding warnings in the LA County, including Inglewood with multiple sources confirming. Hotel gave me a major issue with cancelling when I would be driving from Nevada (also severe flooding warning). The lack of concern for the customer is atrocious, especially when the staff would likely not make it to work. Will not be offering my business again.
