Grocery store and CVS right across the street. Hermosa Beach Pier and the arcade are just down the street. Ocean side can be noisy with heavy traffic. The fourth floor gives you the view of the ocean and Palos Verdes. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Someone was tapping on my door, or the one next to me, loudly at 8am repetitively. Stayed in room 212 on Oct 11th and was woken to the the "tap tap tap tap tap tap tap......tap tap tap tap" for 30 seconds or so. No words spoken, just tap tap tap tap tap repetitively. Horrible nights sleep not due to the staff but when I finally went to sleep at 430am for the staff to wake me with tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap at 8am is unprofessional.
