    The hotel itself is nice, clean, and well taken care of. No complaints about the hotel. However, the location is very scratchy. It’s right across the street from a truck stop and nothing else.

    Stayed here to go to the renaissance fair and I am so glad I did! Staff is so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very nice, quiet and fairly priced. Will stay here again!

    Staff was super pleasant but there were some downsides. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, almost 30 minutes past the check-in time, so they moved us to a different room. It would have been fine but the cleanliness of the room was very unpleasant. It was not vacuumed well and there were small pieces of trash and hair everywhere. There was even a rubberband and cable lying on the floor. That really just ruined the whole experience for me and made me think everything else in the room was dirty. I usually keep the room nice and clean when we leave but this time I didn't even try because the staff didn't even try. I usually tip the housekeeping too but didn't even bother with that this time either. Besides the cleanliness of the room, the staff was great, rooms were affordable, and only about 15-20 minutes from Gilroy Gardens.

    Appalling lack of customer service or human decency. As a Diamond member, I expect much better from Hilton properties. I did not get the name of the man I spoke with, but it was just after midnight on 22 September and I needed to book a room for *21 September, because we are traveling on the road and needed a place to sleep for the night. How unfortunate that Hilton designed a system to prevent you from walking into a hotel with available rooms, but unable to book one for the night if you happen to walk in or call after midnight. And how unfortunate it was for us that I called this location first and the man on the phone had ZERO desire to help. Rude and unwilling, and would have paying customers sooner sleep on the street than attempt to book an empty room or find a solution. When asked for a number or alternative I could call, because I was so baffled at his lack of customer service, he told me to call the Hilton Garden Inn close by. And I am glad I did, because the woman there was MUCH more helpful. She had the same issues as the man at Hampton Inn, but expressed true regret for the circumstances and wanted to help us. Because of her, I ended up on the phone with the Diamond member assistance line and was able to book a room. I attempted to call the property again to inform the man I spoke with that it is indeed possible to book a room after midnight and to checkin immediately, but the phone call just rang out. I still cannot believe a hotel with available rooms would tell a paying customer that they cannot sleep here tonight. Insane lack of customer service or care.

    Great hotel! We just checked in and the service was wonderful. We had to make a last minute reservation here due to our previous hotel being horrible! The front desk staff and manger were so accommodating and friendly. They even gave our daughter some sweet treats! Highly recommend! Thank you for being so friendly and accommodating.
