Main reason for my mid review of Hamptons is because my room smelled like cigarettes. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My colleague and I enjoyed the breakfast. Finally the location was convenient for us with many dining options nearby.

I travel 3 weeks of every month these days and have stayed at the Hampton Inn Folsom several times. Each time it is a good experience-the rooms are quiet and clean (not fancy or foo foo), the hotel is safe and in a location close to good restaurants and amenities. What is really nice are the people here-Max has been the night clerk on duty each time and is friendly, helpful and personable. The morning team is always a great too. Many Hamptons don’t have coffee out before 0600; this one does. And they have hot water for tea at night and fresh coffee. So many times it’s tepid or gross. The little shop is well stocked. These little things and especially the nice folks make a big difference. Will for sure stay here again as I keep needing to be back for work.

Pretty good, but bathroom didn't seem as clean as it should have been, specifically there was hair all over the counter.

We got in late i. The evening the front desk was quick and gave us bottle waters to rake to the room. The room was clean and then temperature was set nicely. If i had to nitpick a bit, the bed wasnt very comfortable and the toilet didn’t flush unless you held the handle down. Breakfast was good (im a sucker for that waffle maker) good location close to sutter st and the freeway. All in all good spot.
