Very nice rooms.
Nice location. I was visiting family in El Cajon.
I had lots of choices for food.
Mall, Grocery Store all in walking distance.
Staff was very friendly and professional.
Free breakfast which was excellent.
Another great Hilton place.

This is an update! I wrote an earlier On 9-5-25 I checked into this location, I met a really nice, sweet lady who welcomed me. I was there through a program sponsored by a college. I was there fifteen days with no problems except for maybe around 9-10-25 housekeeping came to clean the room. I used my own cloth for bath. Next day I noticed that my cloth was missing from the bathroom. I called front desk and I spoke with their manager named Sebastian Goldberg and a few minutes later someone from. I guess laundry, was knocking on the door with my cloth; I appreciated the promptness. I buy “good” cloths because I don’t like the hard texture of cheaper kinds, but Really It Should not matter how much I Paid For it, It’s mine. So, it happened for the second time some few days later and I again told a front desk agent and after ten minutes had passed and I hadn’t heard from them I called again but someone but the agent just told me to hold on. I ended up going down to the desk after holding a few minutes as a guest. I got the manager Sebastian’s information and I emailed him. I called front desk to ask for housekeeping service and I asked if I was speaking with the manager and he said yes I asked him if he got my email and he said yes, I immediately thought why didn’t he reply then, wow ok. After I called three times within a couple hours I just stopped calling. The manager never called me and he went home that night without any type of positive, respectful communication. I posted my review in hopes that the owners may see it and reach out; instead I was told to check out after my stay had just been extended. This extension proves that I caused no problems because I would have never been extended. The problem was the lack of professionalism and lack of respect on behalf of the manager. I would guess that the guests who normally check in and pay out of pocket would have been handled differently. I was thrown out on the streets because of manager Sebastian Goldberg’s disregard and inhumane treatment and I struggled taking out all my things in the scorching heat, got sick, and was never wrong for speaking my truth and trying to notify the owners of his behavior. Ms Anah is so so sweet and professional, also if people are staying there because of a program that helps them to get housing they probably have been through a lot already to have to deal with this kind of treatment by Sebastian. He also said that I attacked his staff which was not the truth. The housekeeper was a sweet lady and I’m pretty sure she did not purposely take my cloth, but the fact was she did take it and I had only a hand to use, but I never said anything to her about it and I was never going to. I never had any problems with anyone there, no one. I heard other things about Sebastian as well, I think that Ms Anah would be a much better manager. The Best And Professional Thing Would Have been To Right The Wrong To Get A Good Review And Recurring Customers; And Is He Responsible For The Upkeep Of rooms Because The Carpet Smell Made Me Nauseous.
IT WAS NOT AS CLEAN AS A HOTEL SHOULD BE, I am fortunately not a stranger to nice and good. The shower had a leak that maintenance supposedly came to fix but nothing changed and no one ever followed up with me of course, the inside of the toilet bowl was hardly touched during my stay. Very poor treatment by Sebastian Goldberg. A card on the front desk says would you give us five stars and the conditions along with the treatment I would have to no to five stars. I know this was a long review, sorry but there was a lot involved unfortunately.
P.S. I guess video doesn’t upload here because I had a video of the working condition of the toilet and the leaking shower that tapped tapped and was noisy the whole shower every shower also the bed bug video didn’t upload. I put one bed bug in the toilet and flushed it two nights in a row so that was two out of fifteen days

The staff was extremely helpful, cautious. Service was fantastic and the supervisor SEBASTIAN whent out of his way to assist us in anyway. Highly recommend this hotel

I had the opportunity to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites El Cajon for an extended period of time (about 4–5 months), and I can honestly say it felt like home to me. From the moment I checked in until the very last day, the experience was nothing short of wonderful.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. My room was always kept neat and fresh, and the common areas—including the lobby, hallways, and dining area—were spotless. I never had to worry about comfort or hygiene; everything was well maintained, which gave me peace of mind during my long stay.
What truly made the difference, however, was the staff. The General Manager, Mr. Sebastian, was always approachable, professional, and genuinely caring. He went above and beyond to ensure that guests were comfortable and satisfied. The front desk team—whether it was Heidi orAnna—and others were consistently welcoming, attentive, and ready to help with any request. They treated me with kindness and respect every single day, and I always felt that they valued me as a guest.
The hospitality here made me feel like I was part of a family rather than just another customer. Every time I walked through the doors, I was greeted warmly, and it gave me the sense that I was truly at home. This personal touch is something you don’t find everywhere, and it made my long-term stay both pleasant and memorable.
Overall, I highly recommend Hampton Inn & Suites El Cajon to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. This hotel is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where you are cared for. Thank you to Mr. Sebastian and the entire team for making my time here such a positive and unforgettable experience.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn & Suites for an extended period and was genuinely impressed by the consistent quality of service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The continental breakfast was excellent—fresh, well-organized, and a great way to start each day.
Special thanks to Sebastian, the manager, whose professionalism and hospitality stood out. He leads a fantastic team that truly cares about guest experience. I appreciate everyone who made my stay so comfortable.
Highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a clean, welcoming, and well-run hotel.
