  I travel several times a year for work and have stayed at the Hampton Inn San Francisco–Daly City multiple times. Honestly, I’m always happy when my company books me here. There’s something about this hotel that just doesn’t feel cold or transactional—it feels welcoming. A huge part of that is the front desk team, especially Grace and Eva. After a long day of work, being greeted by people who are genuinely upbeat, warm, and attentive makes a real difference. They consistently go above and beyond, whether it’s helping with directions, recommending great places to dine or shop, or just making sure everything feels seamless during my stay. What really stands out is that they offer the kind of thoughtful, personalized guidance you usually only get at a five-star resort—essentially complimentary concierge service, and done with sincerity. They are truly perfect hosts. Kudos to whoever hired and trained these gems. Grace and Eva are a big reason this hotel stands out, and why I always look forward to staying here.

  Diego at the front desk was very helpful getting us checked in and settled. And the free parking is a huge perk.

  My husband and I stayed here with our dog on a recent roadtrip through the area. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was good and there were food places nearby. A great Chinese food restaurant next door and Mr. Pickles Sandwhich shop next to the parking lot. Parking was decent at this hotel. For the most part we were able to find parking in their lot. There was only one evening where we had to park across the street because we left late to get food and someone snagged our spot. The car was fine though. The area felt safe enough. The hotel itself was very clean and decorated nicely with Christmas decor. Staff was friendly. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is pet friendly for an additional cost per night. Breakfast was included from 6-10am each morning and was pretty good! There's also an on-site laundry room and fitness room. The only thing was that the cleaning staff can be quite loud in the morning which makes it difficult to sleep in. You can hear them shouting to one another and you can hear the vaccuming and everything. That would probably be the only downfall to our stay but everything else was good. I would definitely stay here again.

  Exceptional Service During a Stressful Time Huge shoutout to DIEGO HERNANDEZ of Hampton Inn Daly City Frontdesk, he showed incredible professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. He went above and beyond to assist us and made a difficult situation much easier. Truly grateful for his outstanding service.

  We always stay here when visiting SF. Rooms are great, staff is friendly, parking is free(but lot gets full). And pet friendly. We sleep well. There is plenty of nearby street parking. Location is congestion free but near the city. Great Chinese place across the street and dozens of other options within 10mins. Know: water pressure is low like all California hotels and breakfast is nothing special but the area is always clean and well stocked.
