Two and a half stars. The staff, location, and breakfast were wonderful. The pricing was fine. The rooms REALLY need to be updated (although they were at least clean). I woke up every morning feeling like I was camping: hot and damp with a backache from the sagging bed. The doors aren’t sealed, so that morning fog seems to creep into the bedroom and make all your clothes feel slightly wet. It also isn’t helpful for keeping bugs out. The wall paper is peeling in the bathroom, the water pressure is mediocre at best, and you can’t make your room colder than 66 degrees, which doesn’t sound bad at first, until you wake up wet in bed from the dampness and turning on the heat makes the room smell like a gas oven. The walls are also a bit thin, so every night I had to drift off to the sound of someone else’s TV and the highway outside. It’s a shame because really the people there and everything OUTSIDE of your room is so nice.

Felt like a cheap motel with a half-hearted attempt to make it into a hotel. Breakfast was mediocre and lacked choice and was the same every day. Air conditioner was defending. Shower was old and extremely hard to find a decent temperature. Tv was pixelated and stretched aspect ratio. Internet was pretty much non-existent. One night I measured it at 0.6 mbps down, 0.2 mbps up. Unusable.

I've stayed here a couple times and will stay again. There are no surprises - The rooms and beds are nice, there's a fridge and microwave and decent water pressure. The breakfast has a lot of options and nice room to eat it in. Both times I've stayed here, something has a arisen where we had to change rooms, and both times the manager was very helpful, and always fulfilled our request or offered something better. For the price and location, there's not a better option!

Convenient location near San Francisco. Clean and ok room. Nice breakfast buffet with a lot to chose from. Nice touch to offer coffee and cookies by the fireplace in the reception.

This was as not your typical Best Western stay. This hotel was more like a mini resort. The free breakfast was also not typical. The restaurant is an actual restaurant in an adjacent building, and felt more like a dining out experience than a motel afterthought. The breakfast included the usual fare (eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, French toast, waffles, fruit) but unlike other continental breakfasts, it didn't taste boxed or like it had been sitting under lamps for 5 hours. I read in another review that there are no bending machines. That is incorrect. Had they asked, as I did, they would have been informed that the vending machines are in the center of the courtyard, and have water, soda, and snacks. The ice machine was right across the walk. The hotel staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, the vibe was that of a more high-end hotel. Staff, amenities, and accommodations far exceeded our expectations for price we paid. A note to management: your staff is outstanding!
