My friends and I stayed one night at this hotel and we do like it. The room is clean and organize except for just one it was too dark inside all lights were on when we were all trying to get ready for an event. Other than that, this place was great for a short vacation or to stay for anytime. All front desk staffs were great and nice. 👍🏻

Nice rooms. Solid cookie. Prices in the restaurant are increasing, going from $20 for breakfast three years ago to $27. The F&B credit (Diamond) used to at least cover breakfast, now it only covers slightly over half. Despite the dual pane glass, the road traffic can still be heard if you are on the street side. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

This company has terrible customer service. I tried to book, they said it was full but charged my credit card anyway. $200 stolen from me and no service provided. They refuse to refund. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I have stayed at many DoubleTree Hotels before and from what I can recall they are always a private property or gated. Well during my stay at the Chatsworth location on 10/11/25 I arrived past check in time due to an event I was attending with my family. I arrived on 10/11/2025, at 2:00AM. The hotel was not gated and I had to park on the North end of the parking lot all the way in the back due to limited parking.
Well after I parked, gathered my belongings I noticed 3 cars parked with people eyeing my car and other people’s car’s, sleeping with lots of stuff in the back of there cars. I don’t want to assume they where homeless however, as I looked around the parking lot there was indeed 4 homeless people sleeping in a tent they made out of boxes, trying to get my attention and making inappropriate comments at me. I had but no other choice but to leave my car parked where it was at due to the lot being full.
Prior to checking in I spoke with a front desk manager at 8PM informing them I will be checking in late due to my event going past midnight and I was aware the room I booked due to limited availability was for only 4 people however I will be bringing two more additional guest who are my family and the front desk informed me that it should not be a problem and was considerate and I can check in whenever I arrive and was pleased that I informed the hotel.
Well when I arrived at 2AM it was not the same lady I spoke with at 8PM and she began arguing with me that I either had to leave with all my guests and receive no refund or I have to pay an additional $50 per additional guest. I informed her my situation, who I spoke with at 8PM and dismissed everything I was telling her and told me specifically, “Either you pay the $100 or get out”. Well for it being 2AM in the morning and I traveled 8 hours away from home I paid the additional fee and when I brought her my concerns for my car regarding the homeless people sleeping in the parking lot, she told me, “that is not my problem, you don’t feel your car is safe you and your guest can leave if you feel unsafe.”
I was in complete shock on the responses I was receiving from this employee representing DoubleTree because like I said I always stay at DoubleTree everywhere I go, and have never been treated or talked to this way.
Overall, this was just a horrible experience and I would not recommend this DoubleTree to anyone. If you stay here, before aware you are at risk of having your car broken into and will likely come out paying more than what you already paid for.
