The only thing we missed was having a grocery store nearby. Room and breakfast and staff were amazing. Movie theater and restaurants very close.

Very close to most destinations in Palm Springs. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean. Had kids and got on the first floor. Worth it. The breakfast in the morning was quite nice for kids and the staff were very attentive to ensuring the tables were clean.

We stayed here 12/30/25 - 1/1/26. Family of four; my wife and I and two children 13 and 14. We had a two queen sofa sleeper suite. We are from MN. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, the service was friendly and we felt very comfortable and welcome in the neighborhood. We opted for Cathedral Hill over Pal Springs due to lower prices, Pal Springs was only two miles up the road. We opted for a Hampton Inn over a boutique hotel for consistency and free breakfast. We were not disappointed. There is a Mexican supermarket up the road that has a great deli, I think it was Cardenas or something similar. On Tuesdays they have $1 tacos, they make their own corn tortillas and fresh squeezed juice. We were the only white people we saw there and everybody treated us like family, it was a good spot. We found plenty of expensive food we enjoyed too, in the neighborhood and in Palm Springs. Have fun on your trip.

Stayed at the cathedral city Hampton Inn with family during the Christmas holidays for 12 nights. At the price point, it’s great value for money. It’s located between Palm Springs and Rancho mirage which are great spots for spending the evenings. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Airport is also a 12 minute drive.
Hotel is well maintained. We made great use of the pool and hot tub. The view is amazing. The complimentary breakfast is good as well. They have a decent gym and laundry which is very helpful.
There is a gas station and car wash next to it.
Parking is free and there are ample spots.

I had a fantastic stay here. It all started with the warm welcome at check-in. The room was ready early (even managed to get a view !), but instead of rushing up to it we stood and talked about the area and things to see/do and places to eat. All awesome recommendations.
The room has all the basics needed. The fridge also had a freezer section (nice touch). The room overlook the pool and mountains.
Breakfast was a nice start each day. Eggs and rotating selection of bacon or turkey/pork/chicken sausage and the usual pastry and waffles. Juices, yogurt and fruit. Well stocked.
Location- I found this to be a great location. I read many reviews before and thought ... hmm. Well, I walked out to the ARCO at 11pm for an ice cream bar (they do not stock them in their pantry downstairs). I did not see a single person in the parking lot. Needless to say, I did not feel unsafe at all.
Final thoughts - The hotel is located central to many places you want to see, the staff are some of the best in the business and I would definitely recommend staying here.
