When I asked for a room upgrade, the old lady at the front told me I’m not a diamond so I don’t get the upgrades. When I went down to ask if the breakfast was included, the lady told me yes so I started eating. The waitress gave me a bill for the breakfast. When I confronted the front lobby, they said because I’m not a diamond member, I need to pay. They are so focused on diamond status and doesn’t give a crap about gold status members. Stay at marriot hotels, they treat gold status members much better.
