Free breakfast (6-10am daily) has several hot & cold options: make your own waffles, fresh eggs, meats, oatmeal yogurt, juices, & continental options. Staff ensure refills are plenty. Free coffee/tea all day. Great location to I-5 main highway but not noisy. Drawback to any CA hotel is nightly parking fee ($20) in addition to room rate. Daily room rate was reasonably priced for the area. Recommended & will return when visiting family in the area.

- KPKay PowellOct 26, 20255.0This has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in California. I travel to San Diego at least 2-3 times a year for sports tournaments. It’s so nice to have an included breakfast with a wide variety of food options that begins at 6am every day of the week (eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, regular and soy milk, bananas and other fruit, yogurt, bread/bagels/muffins, waffles- 2 flavors daily- the normal waffle batter and an additional fun flavor, this week I’ve had s’mores, churro, and pumpkin spice). They also have a super convenient water bottle filler that also dispenses ice, and they have coffee out in the lobby all day. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, the woman who was maintaining the breakfast area greeted every single guest as they came in. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a Mexican food spot right next to the hotel, and the fish tacos are such a cheap but delicious and filling meal. The rooms are relatively spacious, the water pressure in the shower is great, there’s a fridge and microwave in the room, thermostat is easy to adjust, plenty of outlets… basically everything I could ask for to make for a comfortable stay! The only thing that could’ve made this stay 100% perfect would be free parking, but I knew ahead of time that there was a daily fee to park my car because it’s posted on the website. I’ve stayed at other places that are much more expensive that don’t include breakfast, so paying for parking is still a good trade off given the value of everything else I’ve loved about this stay!
