- RCRichard Charlton5 days ago1.0Incredibly disappointed in Hilton brands for the first time. Was bringing an entire team down to Hilton Buena Vista Anaheim for a softball tournament. Booked an entire room block of 16 rooms but I was staying an additional night, so I booked that night on your website. The tournament cancelled due to weather, so the tournament is cancelling the room block. I called into cancel the additional night and apparently, I pre-paid. Called the hotel and they transferred me to the "pre-paid department" and the person was incredibly rude and kept talking over me. She said that the only exception was to move the date and they couldn't refund. Well, I have no other planned trips at the moment, nor do I have a reason to go to CA. Called the hotel and they said the same thing. I have stayed at DOZENS of Hilton brand hotels over the years and it's insane that they refuse to credit the $138. Hugely disappointed. Arielle and her team handled the situation with professionalism and worked with us through this process. I would highly recommend this hotel based on the service and professionalism, especially when looking to block rooms for an event.

Next thing I know they charged me for it and I had to call to get it adjusted. I wonder how many people didn’t notice it and got charged twice. Also never told me it was up to $30 only so that’s all they credited me back. Dishonest is a no go for me. Never stay here again!

While my family and I were in our room — with my two small children right by the door — the head of housekeeping suddenly entered our room without knocking, announcing, or any prior notice. There was no emergency, no reason, and no respect for our privacy. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but a direct violation of Hilton’s own guest security standards. It left us feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a trusted environment. Hilton Buena Park Anaheim needs to address this immediately. Staff should never enter an occupied guest room without proper notice. Until the hotel and Hilton corporate take accountability and ensure this never happens again, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.
