This was a very first time in Big Bear and we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. They give you smore kits you can roast over the fire in their back patio. They have movie nights for the kids. We will definitely be coming back next time we come to Big Bear.

Hampton by Hilton. Hilton by Hampton lol🥰. Rule number 1, Book in advance it gets sold out real fast especially during holiday seasons.
Clean and warm. Front desk always ready to help 24/7. Big Bear is freezing cold 🥶 during the Winter but hotel keeps everyone nice and warm. Coffee, Hot Chocolate, tea ☕... Available 24/7. I lost my key and got another from the front desk with no hustle. Pleeeeeeeeenty parking 🅿️. Very Close to Big Bear zoo, snow slides, restaurants, Big Bear lake, kids Parks etc. Overall, I highly recommend 🥰.

Overall, the place is just full of problems. Pests in the room (with pictures) the heat wasn't working and temperature was 60 degrees per the thermostat and turning full heat on did nothing and despite 5 polite requests no effort was made by staff. Breakfast "buffet" has plastic utensils, paper plates, and nothing but reheated junk and sugar cereals. Almost as nice as what I'd expect in a frat house. lol. Blinds were broken, Joseph the grouch eventually responded to ask to "discuss" but there was nothing to discuss. No attempt was made to fix the heat. Just generally awful experience for a very horribly pricey hotel. hallways smelled horribly of smoke, super loud, pool area smelled horribly of chlorine. Won't return.
