  I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Kelowna: Delta, BW, Hyatt… you name it but DoubleTree came out of nowhere like a plot twist and became my new favourite. I had never stayed in a DoubleTree before, so this was a delightful surprise. The room was very, very clean, with high-quality bedding and modern Nespresso machine. The TV was huge, high-resolution, and perfect for winding down after the day. And Breakfast was the best. Not a buffet, you actually get to order from a menu like a civilized human and the extra breakfast cost wasn't much. The attached restaurant Turtle Jack is fantastic too, with great service and food quality to match. Their Eggs Benedict deserves its own award. We also tried dinner there two nights, and it was great both times. Pro tip: Their chocolate brownie is MASSIVE. Like “even two adults can’t finish it” massive. If you want the right amount of dessert without entering a sugar coma, just order the kids’ brownie. Perfect size. My 4-year-old loved it too. There’s a great pool and an awesome kids’ park just a 2-minute walk away. Even the parking lot was spotless. Every morning someone was outside sweeping and picking up garbage. Only downside that there was no electric vehicle charging (Tesla). I’m officially converted. This is my new go-to hotel in Kelowna. Highly recommend!

  The cleanliness of this hotel is questionable. It appeared our room had not been vacuumed. Toenail clippings in my bathroom floor. Crumbs at the foot of the bed. When I complained the next morning and requested the manager it took a few attempts to speak with her. Then she used the excuse of it’s a new property and still working with cleaning staff. They came in and ‘recleaned’ but the clippings on the floor was still there. I gave up and dealt with it myself.

  Our stay at this hotel was absolutely superb! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located, so easy to get around from here. The staff were wonderful, super friendly, and even recommended a few great local spots to visit. We arrived on November 1st and couldn’t find anywhere to watch the match since most places were fully booked. To our surprise, the hotel lobby had a Turtle Jack’s restaurant with a big screen! We ended up watching the game there, and although our team lost, the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious. I had the apple crumble for dessert, and it was so good I went back again the next day! Overall, both the hotel and Turtle Jack’s staff made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kelowna!

  This place is a place a place home away from home the atmosphere is warm welcoming. And uplifting. And the restaurant here is a addition of the awesome food and hospitality
