Loved it. Exactly what glamping should be. Plenty of delicious hot cooked food for vegans too. Saw some reviews saying the in-tent fire brazier was tough and the water pulley was hard but this isn’t a hotel so what do you expect. Things will be different than a traditional building. The tent was lovely. Exactly what one should expect from a glamping tent. Bed was large and comfortable, blankets warm. In late Oct it was cold at night and it was a bit of a learning curve to get the fire right. Staff are excellent. Vibe is excellent. Looking forward to checking out UnderCanvas in other locations. Coyotes yowling at night and the adorable quail were a treat. We had a maintenance need and Darryl was amazing. The serving staff at breakfast were also excellent - the girl with the mahogany red hair with bangs was super helpful, didn’t get her name!
- CBClaire BottomOct 21, 20255.0We had such a good time at Under Canvas! The tents were clean and safe. We went in October so it did get a bit cold at times but the fire stove worked well. I do recommend bringing your winter coat and some other warm layers if you come after August just to be safe though. The view of the stars (+the stargazer tent) is the main reason we booked here and it did not disappoint. The camp grounds itself was about 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon which was easy. We would get back around dusk and enjoy the amenities in the main tent. Live music, drinks/food, free smores, board games, etc. Staff was super kind and helpful with any questions. Would definitely book at Under Canvas again when we visit some of the other national parks.
