I have stayed in many hotels across the country. I travel weekly for work and visit large cities and small towns. This was my first experience as a solo female traveler where I feel the hotel jeopardized my privacy and security. Upon checking in I was ask to go back out to my car, it was 10 in the evening, and put a tag on the dashboard with my room number on it in bright red marker. I was told this was necessary just in case someone broken into my car. Security could then find me quickly. The next morning I went down for breakfast and had to tell a host my name, room number and how many were in my room in order to get breakfast. There was a line behind me of several people. When my concerns were brought up to management I was given excuses of why these polices were in place. Many of the problems this hotels faces are problems around the country yet NEVER has my security ever been compromised by other Hiltons.

We came in late from a long day of sightseeing and were greeted in a few minutes by the person on staff. They checked us in and pointed us toward our room in quick and easy fashion. Our room was clean and neat, all the things were in the room that you would expect. Linens, towels, soaps, etc. were stocked and easily accessible. Our entryway light did not work, but all the other lights worked fine. There was some noise next door for a while but quiet hours were respected and we had a restful night. The hot breakfast was as you would expect, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and biscuits. There were other things like fresh cut fruit, bananas, apples, and yogurt. The coffee was hot and readily available with plenty of coffee fixings. Breakfast requires a ticket and flows one way which funnels you out into the gift shop. The shop was full of native american toys, books, info and trinkets. Checkout was a breeze and we were on our way. The location is not far from Monument Valley which we visited and it was very interesting. I would stay at this location again.

Cheap and cheerful hotel we stayed in on our road trip between the Grand Canyon and Santa Fe. I honestly didn’t have high hopes for a 3 star chain hotel but found this place to be a welcome surprise. The staff were attentive and friendly, we arrived on Halloween and they were handing out candy to local trick or treaters which was cute. The lobby had comfortable seating and a fire going which made us want to spend time there. The room was clean, modern, and the beds comfortable. We appreciated the information sheet we were given when we checked in (local sites, restaurants, and weather). I thought the various textiles and photos of Navajo art and culture was a nice touch. Would recommend
