    1/6/2026 Most reviews I have read for this hotel are bogus Hampton Inn 4215 North 41st Drive Pheonix, AZ 85086 Hampton Inn Pheonix/Anthem Hotel is about 20 miles north of Pheonix off I -17 Hotel is right off I-17, easy to find, but have to cross busy highway with no traffic light to get to it. Staff was efficient but not friendly. Hotel is an older building which needs much TLC. Hall carpets appear faded and mustiness pervades throughout. Room carpet is gray with spots. Room is dimly lit. The bath area is a bit small and cramped Room is large with A/C and heat controlled by thermostat. Desk is good size and desk chair is adjustable but at full height your chin is just above desk. Bed is semisoft but comfortable. There is a strip mall with a couple restaurants close by. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Scrambled eggs, pork sausages, fried potatoes, toast, bagels and a few pastries which looked days old. Fruit was just oranges and two kinds of yogurt. Coffee was good but juices were watery and nearly tasteless. This is perhaps the worst Hampton Inn we’ve ever stayed at. It does not meet the brand standard.

    Amazing and helpful staff is a bit of an understatement! Trying to juggle 2 family members with the flu, my mother’s funeral, and flight changes was quite the load. But everyone was professional and accommodating. The breakfast staff helped me with taking food to my sick family and the front desk was flexible with all our rescheduling. Even housekeeping staff was sympathetic and helpful with trash, blankets, kind words. I was thankful to be there despite missing Christmas. The location for us was perfect so I know we’ll return. Thanks and happy new year!

    Horrendous service, esp. the manager. Avoid this place at all costs - even if you have to pay more elsewhere...I wish I had read the reviews warning about this before I booked

    There is this old saying that say something like this... Do not say anything if you do not have anything good to say, so I do not have anything to say.... Why? Because that all is already said so many times on a comment section. Okay, this much I can say that we do not come back with my disabled veteran spouse and her Emotional Support Animal. There are no respect towards anyone in this hotel. They are rude and tyrannical at the front desk. Also, do not ask any questions or ask to get help, they do not give any and they will belittle you. Oh, boy, what the unpleasant experience! I do not wish to anyone! The bed cover is not clean with brown dtain and we lifetd on the table. The room does not have a microwave. Bathroom is smelling awful. So, what can we say? Only, that we do not come back as so many others. I have a feeling that the management do not care, because they still have the same rude personalities at the front desk as earlier times. P.S. I asked if there is someone to come to see what is wrong in the bathroom that it had that awful smell, and the front desk clerk quickly said rude way and bluntly before I even had finished my question that "NO! There is no one! I can not help I am alone!" Yes, she offered to give another room an upper level but there was not disabled room either that we asked in the first place. And if someone have say "no" to question it can be done politely and being rude or tyrannical. But as we have seen, it is nice that management is answering to the complains. However, there are no any action to make the visits more pleasant for people with disabilities and or fir their Emotional support animal. Nothing has changed. Same rude personal are at front desk year after year. Why? Are you married to them? Or are they part of the ownership?

    The staff AMAZING, location PERFECT! Hosted all guests arriving for our son's wedding for 3+ days. Everyone, especially Jim, Lynn & Lexi went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed. Added conference rooms to rental so our group could have a gathering location so we didn't disturb rest of guests. Also divided room so Bride and girls had beautiful room to get ready in. The staff was organized, professional and so darn friendly, we knew most of them by first name before we left. Thank YOU EVERYONE @ Hampton Inn, Anthem, AZ. I'll send letter to Mika so she knows how lucky they are to have this staff! THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE! The Yatsinko's Family!
