I'm in hotels every day. Today Addam the desk guy did an amazing job! Most desk people at hotels are lazy, and just say "we were sold out and your room is not available because they don't want to be bothered or just don't know what they are doing. Addam knew his job, and switched things around so n the computer, and checked with the cleaning people and we had rooms in less then 30 min! Wish all desk clears were as good at their jobs as Addam!

We stay with Hampton Inn hotels line quite often, and I have to say — this might be the most disappointing one we’ve experienced. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t horrible, but it definitely wasn’t up to the usual Hampton standard, and I’m pretty irritated that we paid $180 for this stay. My sister arrived around 9 p.m. with her family, and my family arrived just before 10 p.m. Check-in was fast, no complaints there. We headed straight to the pool before it closed, and that part was great — clean, well-kept, and exactly what you’d expect. Unfortunately, the issues started once we got to our rooms. My sister pulled out the sofa bed and found used sheets and blankets still on it. In my room, the bathroom door was completely off the roller track — it’s a heavy door, and I was nervous it could fall on one of my little ones. We tried calling the front desk, but the phone didn’t work. When I pulled out our sofa bed, it was literally falling apart (see picture) and didn’t have fitted sheets or pillowcases. The rest of the room was clean, but the maintenance issues were hard to overlook. I went down to the front desk and explained that our phone didn’t work and the bathroom door was off its hinges. The employee’s response was, “Oh. I can have maintenance come up later?” — as if I was bothering him. I guess I was hoping he’d offer a different room… but they could have been booked. Who knows. I told him my kids were heading to bed soon, and he nodded and went back to his work. It’s not the end of the world, but having to use the bathroom with no functioning door isn’t exactly what I expect from a Hampton Inn — especially at $180 a night. I guess I can’t upload a video- but the door is completely off the rail and we can’t get it back on.

Great rooms and amazing breakfast. Was a bit of a challenge getting in at 1 in the morning though. Had to sit at the door for awhile before someone was at the front desk to let us in.
