I had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn in Selma from September 28 to October 10 while hosting five groups of volunteers, and the whole team made us feel right at home. The breakfast crew took great care of everyone. Housekeeping checked in often and made sure we had what we needed. The front desk made every check-in smooth.
I want to send a big shout-out to DeeDee. She handled all kinds of personalities with patience and kindness. Her energy was warm, her conversations were genuine, and every single volunteer remembers her.
Vanessa and the rest of the staff were just as thoughtful, and we truly felt supported the entire time.
Thank you all for taking such good care of us. We appreciate you.

We stay in Selma frequently & this was our first time at the Hampton. We checked in late & the front desk staff was great. Ms. Donna was so amazing at breakfast! Everything was so neatly organized, even the ketchup packets. I’ve never seen such care taken any other Hampton breakfast. We will definitely be back!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional—especially thanks to DeeDee, who went above and beyond with her professionalism and warm hospitality. She truly made me feel welcome and taken care of.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything I needed. One of the highlights was having a gym setup right in my room—such a great feature for someone who likes to stay active while traveling.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this hotel, and huge thanks again to DeeDee for making it extra special!
