Hot water was instant, and Wi-Fi was easy to connect with solid speeds (about 29 up / 29 down). The breakfast bar was spacious and well thought out with plenty of options like fruit, cereal, and hot items. TV channel selection could be better. A deposit was required at check-in. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

However, after being a 10+ year Hilton Honors veteran, this is the first Hilton hotel where I have experienced SEVERAL maintenence and customer service issues on one visit. The hotel seems to need better leadership as some of these issues appear to be the "norm" or acceptable by their team (such as no hot water for tea). I was told..."the contrainer for the hot water is broken so you simply have to request the hot water from the kitchen???" I could not understand why they wouldn't simply convert one of the coffee contrainers to hot water or buy a new one. The other issues included a broken lamp in the room, slow draining sink, dirty carpet (not vacuumed), and no sanitizer wipes in the workout room (i.e. the container was empty).

Every staff I encounter spoke and asked how I was doing. Checking in was thanked for being honors member and water. The breakfast hostess both morning greeted everyone and willingness to help if needed. The food was kept full and area clean. When I made a mess and asked for something to clean, told me no problem and clean it. Coffee was hot and fresh. My room was clean and love a cold room perfect temperature. Minor issues was wear and tear in some areas. Someone had pulled the shampoo off the wall and called to note it. Otherwise relaxing stay. Hotel close to a number of places to get food, a Publix also. Walmart and Dollar tree and gas close by with easy access to expressway. Would stay here again if visiting Mobile
