Thank you for accommodating my us while we stopped on our way to Alabama. My dog, Koda, had a great stay and did not feel bothered by any noises outside of our room.
There was plenty of grass around the hotel for Koda to safely roam, and a bin to dispose of his waste.
This hotel is located very closely to coffee, food, and gas!

A little pricey and the breakfast server was not the happiest employee.

11/6/26: videos of the defamatory and egregious comments made by the company, have all now been posted on public media. No sight of Tasha. The companies that allow this, need to be held accountable for their employees since they’ve seemingly sided with the defamation and discrimination.
Day 13: still no sight of her. It’s pouring rain. Today is our best chance of saving her if we can get to her. Otherwise hypothermia will set in. My husband and I have been searching religiously with nothing to go on and no land to move her to. Animal control can’t do anything with their office hours, land constraints, and need to be everywhere else too.
Day 11: still no sight of her. What there is, are sights of vultures swarming the area. I do have new photos and videos of employees.
Day 8: no sight of Tasha. Is she still alive? Please just let me bury her if not. I’ve given ALL of you multiple chances. This is so wrong and evil.
Day 7: I now own Tasha. I’m being prohibited from retrieving MY dog in spite of the manager’s comment there had been sightings.
Day 6: we don’t know where she is or how she is. Found videos where the dog was threatened to be shot and poisoned and the managers manufactured false claims and accusations. Mob mentality.
Day 3 of this hotel’s animal negligence:
Grateful that it’s rained today so Tasha can have some water. Praying for food. Praying that she can adapt to cold weather and the outside elements. Home2Suites helped us when Tasha first went missing. They fed her and called us.
Day 2:
I called Animal Control hoping for help — but instead, the PPD showed up. No help. I don’t understand how the law always seems to protect people who create these situations. I asked if I could feed her one last time before removing everything, said no. I left the bowls behind for scent — to give her familiar markers of safety — but the landowner called them “trash”. They are a survival aid for her.
Day 1: of Tasha’s story and what the hotels owners did: Animal abuse! The owners of this hotel have prohibited us from feeding and watering and trying to catch a dog in the woods that was lost by a lady traveling through. We’ve searched for her for 6 months and miraculously she’s stayed alive. She’s crossed the interstate into traffic and dangerous wildlife repeatedly until we stabilized her in her current location. The landowner KNEW OF OUR presence (see texts), and we were 4ft in the woods where no hotel guest goes. She leases the land to the owners of the hotel. We tried repeatedly to call the hotel and even went in person to adjust cameras.
How can your management business and owners take its name from one of the most sacred symbols in the Bible — The Ark, (Ark Hospitality) which was built to save and protect animals — while you are refusing care to a living creature in need? Tasha the dog has been missing for 6 months and she’s been behind your hotel. I was even told by the manager while owners were there that many guests had seen her and reported her.
They looked at me and told me “good luck” catching her and I believed them (men pictured below). They were actually nice and then blindsided me 24 hours later. They saw the new equipment, knew our strategy. The irony is heartbreaking. To deny food, water, or rescue to an animal that you know is in your land is not just cruel; it’s a complete betrayal of what the name “Ark” stands for. She’s not eaten in 2 days.
I’ve offered to donate all of my equipment - cameras, remote ray tripper magnet, kennel- we had waited on to be built, to the animal shelter for safe trapping of animals like Tasha that are in survival mode if someone would help and let me tell them her pattern. She is only used to my scent now. Any dog behaviorist will explain this to you. What people — including the landowner — don’t seem to understand is how an animal’s brain adapts for survival. The landowner told me, “Six months to hunt a dog is too long. It’s just life.” But it wasn’t about hunting — it was about earning her trust. Now that trust has been shattered, and everything we worked for is gone.

I had a great stay here! The lady at the front desk was very kind and patient with me. She was welcoming as well as cheerful that was great after such a long drive! The room
Was surprisingly cleaner than expected! The walls needed painted and the tv was outdated but I really enjoyed my stay. The location is great with everything the next parking lot over!! Pool open late! Thanks so much!!

Good experience for an overnight stop to continue our trip the next morning. By being a Hilton member we were able to check in online , choose our room and have a virtual room key with our cell phone. Also someone checked with us by text to say they were looking forward to our arrival and to be safe on our travels. The three stars I gave for the room was because the room we had was in need of refurbishment. But the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.
