- JBJ BDec 16, 20251.0Heat broken, set the heat to 73, fell asleep and the room as over 80. tried to turn the AC on and it did not stay one to cool the room back down. so Room is stuck in 80s. So go downstairs and it smells so bad of smoke in the lobby it gave me a headache. DIDNT KNOW HILTON LETS PEOPLE SMOKE IN THE LOBBY. Can not recommend this place at all. The remote still had Greasy fingure prints on them and all the handles and door knobs are crusty and dirty too. If they are not cleaning the high traffic stuff imagine the stuff you dont see. AVOID.

I spent several nights in the area for business and chose this hotel believing it would be a good fit. However, the moment I entered my room, it became clear that staying here was a major mistake. The room was very dirty and clearly in need of significant renovation. The service was also very discouraging. We were spoken to in an unfriendly tone and told to use plastic cups, paper plates, and plastic utensils for breakfast — even though regular dishes were available, but apparently would have needed to be washed. The waffle makers were not turned on, the milk was not refilled for several days, and the overall breakfast area felt poorly maintained. In my opinion, this hotel does not live up to the Hilton name. I will be reaching out directly to Hilton representatives regarding my experience.

Check-in with Chris was not welcoming—he seemed frustrated and didn’t explain any hotel amenities or basic info like breakfast hours. We were assigned a handicap-accessible room however we later discovered that the room booked through my husband’s employer (via a third-party site) was a handicap-accessible room. We didn’t realize this until we entered the room and noticed the layout and shower style. When we asked Chris if we could switch to a standard room, he told us no. The bathroom shower also had drainage issues, causing water to spread across the floor. Later that night, we noticed mold and stains on the bathroom ceiling. Once we reported it, Chris did come immediately and moved us to another room, which we appreciated. Overall, this stay fell far below our usual Hilton experience. We love Hilton, but based on this visit, we’ll likely stick to other Hilton brands rather than Home2 Suites.
