- RSROBERT STERNBERGAug 31, 20255.0We were in town for a family reunion and enjoyed everything about our stay at this hotel from the kind employees that were a great help from the minute we arrived early from a long road trip from Florida.when you walk in the front door you can tell this hotel is clean and well taken care of, the location was perfect, the breakfast was really good, the indoor pool was really nice, and the rooms were really nice. Definitely will be back.

Appears almost like a new property but front desk gal said major renovations. Everything was clean and operational. Hard floors not carpet in rooms. Bummer. I prefer carpeting. This means noise travels under the room door, and the floors will be cold on your feet in the morning. We were looking forward to gaining an hour only to discover this town operates on Eastern time because the geographical time zone line actually splits the town. So they chose Eastern. Very large bathroom. Very good lighting. Even in the shower. Glass doors for the light to shine through. No quiet close seat on the toilet. Minimal towels unless you ask for extra. Mattress was comfortable. Pillows, eh Sofa couch was fairly comfortable to sit on. No “do not disturb “ door hanger available for room 523 (reported). Except for the first floor, the elevator indicators do not depict which floor the elevator is on. So if you’re on the second floor and press the call button, you don’t know whether the elevator is one floor above, one floor below, or on the fifth floor, and it might be faster to go down the stairs. The luggage carts were the smallest I’ve ever seen. Multiple trips required to unload and reload your vehicle. Breakfast was pretty standard fare for a Hampton Inn. Multiple selections and scrambled eggs available today. Kind of off the beaten path, so be sure to eat before arrival.
