- JSJillian ScanduraDec 22, 20251.0Management is terribly unwelcoming, inflexible, and above all, shockingly dishonest! They demand a $100 deposit. Then state it's a $50 deposit. Then, will not accept a card taken over the phone by an executives Manager and/or via email or text authorization --stating it must be physically run in their machine. I travel on business over 90 flight hours p/m, for years, and have NEVER EXPIRIENCE this anywhere/ever. Additionally, the manager and her peers were adamant that the charge was $50, when they initially stated it was $100 and said it was all on camera. I encouraged them to kindly review the footage for their error. They declined to do so, stating they were correct in their consistent statements that it is a $50 deposit. This is untrue. They are unscrupulous, blatantly dishonest and not a customer-centric business. I would discourage ANYONE/EVERYONE to run, not walk away from this potential discomfort. Kindly stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites at: 313 Clinton Ave in Huntsville AL. Ask for Brianna. You'll be BLESSED and not stressed if you do so as was I. You do get what you pay for!🙏🏼

I have now been charged twice for the same room and they charged me again for a night which I was not in Huntsville. I cancelled my card and called the hotel to explain the issue I was told they would take care of it but still nothing from there end or fixed on mine. Just check your charges when you check out. Not a great way for me to come back. Hotel was fine.

I realize that not booking direct could create an issue but it saves us significantly. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk said the the virtual credit card by the 3rd party (Priceline) was declined. She said we would have to contact them or pay full price. We did contact them and checked with her again. She continued to say we just needed to pay again several times. We went out to the car and contacted them again. Priceline tried to call her and said she hung up on them. But he did send an email because he said he couldn't talk to them over the phone. After driving around for a while giving them time to resolve it, we returned to 2 men working the desk. One man was training, where we learning that there are a couple of extra steps they have to do to check in reservations for 3rd parties. They easily checked us in and were very helpful. I am still unsure exactly what happened but it was stressful. Everything else here was great.
