On Friday night, I notified the front desk that my air conditioning was not working. The agent immediately offered me a box fan; given the speed of the offer, it appeared the hotel was already aware of the cooling issues in the building. When I requested a room move, I was told the hotel was full.
When I asked what my compensation would be for being placed in a room without functioning air, the agent stated he could not help me and that a manager would contact me in the morning to address it. He was nice and appeared to be stressed. (I know I wasn’t the only room)
Unfortunately, the service I received the next morning was equally disappointing:
Around 9:30, I went to the desk to inquire about the AC. I found three staff members engaged in a casual conversation. I was given a standard answer that maintenance was busy, yet after the manager (who was one of the three people standing right there), maintenance arrived at my room within 10 minutes.
It is clear that my request was not prioritized until I arrived at the desk in person. I don’t believe they had even looked at the note he left until then.
Following the repair, the front desk confirmed a second time that a manager would call me. That call never occurred, and my bill was processed at the full rate.
I find it unacceptable that I had to spend a night in a hot room and was then ignored by management after being told twice that someone would reach out. Call today they offered me free parking. Horrible experience and customer service!

They let us park our semi here for 3 days. No charge. Of course we were guests at the hotel.
Bed was comfy and breakfast great. Get an Omelet from Stanley. You won't regret the decision.

I'm truly not one to complain, but I'm not sure what was going on at this location. In short:
- Shower did not have soap in it
- TV didn't work in the bed part of the room
- Bathroom fan wasn't working
It was our first night and we were pretty tired, so I never contacted the desk about the above items. I did get an automated text that I replied to and described the above. However, we went out for the day and returned around 5 to find:
- Room service took our towels and didn't replace them
- Took out our trash and didn't replace the bags
- The sink backed up with something black and rusty!?
I did eventually call the front desk about that. I had to go downstairs to get towels from the front desk and said they'd send maintenance up to look at the sink. 30 minutes later, nobody came, so I just called to get a new room and they obliged. The new room had a better view, soap, a working TV, but the bathroom fan still didn't work and there were some questionable stains on the bed.
Otherwise, breakfast crew are great, 2 free complimentary drinks, front desk is pretty attentive, but room service and facilities attention could go a long way.

Great hotel if your in Huntsville!! Staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The bartenders were also excellent!!. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable! Only negative was there used to be a hot tub and spa but it was gone this trip.

We had a group of 200 people overnight at The Embassy Suites on November 15th.
Mrs. Annette made our stay amazing. She met me and guided me to our banquet space, went over the seating, worked out our equipment staying in the room overnight and did everything in such a caring manner.
She made sure our breakfast was set up early the next morning and that our group had all they needed.
Mrs. Annette is the reason for the 5 stars!! She cared and showed us southern hospitality at its best.
