Mold/mildew issue in one room’s bathroom. **Pictures
We booked two rooms—one was great, but the other had noticeable mold/mildew in the bathroom (enough that we stopped using it and kept the bathroom door closed). We ran the bathroom fan our entire stay and showering in our other room instead.
Both rooms otherwise seemed clean. Mattresses/sheets were lower quality but fine. If the mold issue gets addressed, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a middle-of-the-road hotel.

I made a reservation I'm a gold tier member and have never had any problems and I made q reservation to stay at the one in my town because pur water heater broke and have to have a new one shipped to me and installed and after making the reservation and paying 200 they canceled the reservation and said they don't accept local reservation which I know Is a lie because my father just stayed there two weeks ago and he lives at the same address as me and they accepted his reservations multiple times

The room was clean and there were no bugs, I guess that’s the main thing. That said, when I come back I’ll try somewhere else. I was on the first floor, the plumbing drain pipes are in the walls. Every time the rooms above us used the shower it was a racket coming from the walls. At first I thought people were just pushing luggage carts with square wheels up and down the hall, but it wasn’t.
The breakfast is okay, but if you really enjoy having a good breakfast then I’d go to the Waffle House or Huddle House that are both nearby.

I travel frequently for work and have stayed in many hotels, but this property is easily one of the top five dirtiest rooms I’ve ever encountered. Hilton typically takes pride in clean hotels and quality customer service, but this location has neither.
The moment I walked into my room, I was hit with a strong mildew smell. The work desk was visibly dirty, and there were black hairs throughout the bathroom. Because every hotel in Fort Payne, AL was sold out, I had no choice but to stay. The room was so unpleasant that I went to a local Lowe’s and walked around until close just to avoid being in it.
This morning, having to get ready for work, I have never felt so unclean. There was black mold all over the shower curtain, pubic hair in the tub, and to top it off, the hair dryer left black residue all over my hand when I tried to use it.
I did speak with the front desk, but all they offered was, “Sorry sir, we are full, but I can have someone spray air freshener in the room.” Air freshener doesn’t fix a lack of basic cleanliness.
I found a local breakfast spot (The Spot Coffee Shop) that opened early so I could sit there for two hours before my meeting instead of staying in my room.
I’m a big review person, and I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this facility. Hilton absolutely needs to investigate the conditions of this property. For reference, there is a very nice hotel next door—but it was sold out as well.
