But reside in Maryland. I visited home to be able to meet my new grandbaby and I did December 31st. First day we were greeted with a smile and good conversation and very hospitable, and accommodated our every need. We were there a week. Each day and night I received the same warm and inviting energy conversation from everyone even the quiet ones. There was a social meet and greet night and karaoke with staff and guests, I had a really good time. Great breakfast every morning. Rooms was nice and clean and double queen bedroom was spacious for a family of 4 - 6 because it also had a sleeper sofa. Kitchenette and tub in bathroom. I truly recommend this hotel if you want to feel welcome in Birmingham,AL please don't hesitate to book here. Hopefully you will meet the phenomenal staff which includes - Kaelyn, Kris, Moriyah, Tremayne, Lolita, Nani and Shundra(General Manager)And also includes anyone I missed. - MMMark MillerDec 19, 20255.0This is located in downtown Birmingham right near University Alabama Birmingham and in a excellent location. The room was impressive with a kitchenette in it which I was surprised. I wish we had more time to explore but we were on our way home from a long trip and needed to get home. There is plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the staff are so very welcoming and courteous. They asked if we needed anything more than once but they went above my expectations. Can't wait to come back and spend more time and explore all there is to offer.
- JSJoseph SorrellDec 12, 20251.0While the rooms were nice, it's almost impossible to get in and out of this place and we were not made aware that you had to park several hundred feet away from the hotel in a supposedly public parking place that is actually paid parking. We were not made aware of that fact at the check-in desk but that is on me I guess for not asking. I stayed there one night and I have just received a bill for $156 for parking. Street traffic is extremely noisy in the room and the area that you have to walk through to get to your "public parking" is somewhat sketchy after dark. I'll never stay here again.
