I want to start by highlighting the positives. The gentleman who greeted us upon arrival was very helpful, and Stephanie at the front desk truly stood out. She was cheerful, welcoming, and greeted us every morning. She did everything she could to help and made our stay more pleasant. Overall, the stay was quiet, peaceful, and comfortable, and for the most part, I can’t complain. However, there were some consistent housekeeping issues that made the stay less enjoyable—especially for a long-term stay. During the two weeks, my room was only cleaned about three times. I frequently ran out of toilet paper and tissues and had to go to the front desk to get them myself. Trash was not collected regularly, and I often had to ask someone to take it out, which became frustrating over time. For a two-week stay, having to repeatedly request basic services felt excessive. Additionally, the elevator floors were often dirty and didn’t appear to be cleaned consistently. During the second week, my co-worker joined me for the same work assignment, and unfortunately, her room had roaches. To their credit, the staff handled it promptly and moved her to another room, but she also experienced the same issue of running out of toilet paper afterward. And pillow smelled like a guy just slept there. While the staff—especially Stephanie—were friendly and helpful, the lack of consistent housekeeping and basic supply restocking was disappointing. With improved cleaning routines and better attention to long-term guests, this hotel could be much better.

Mr. Paul is the manager and he is one of the most personable people I've met. This is my second long term stay for an assignment, and they remember their guests. If you need dinner recommendations, they have a printed sheet to look ovee. Great options for everyone in the area around the hotel. Shopping is less than 5 minutes away, interstate is convenient for travel, close to downtown for all entertainment purposes. Highly recommend Home2Suites in the Colonnade!
