Brittney sucks. Asked if she would patch me up to my husband hotel room to wake him for work, seeing as his phone was dead. She said she couldn't give out that information, seeing as she didn't have to even give me the room number but just forward the call to his room. Makes me feel like she is lazy as hell, just doing the bare minimal, no solutions to anything. Which sucks as my husband will be there every week for work and I recommended the place because we were there with our two kids prior to this week. But after her shift and night swift there are older ladies and they are the best, especially at night, the lady that always called me beautiful. She is amazing. Deserves a raise, she brought snacks up to my room shortly after we arrived for my children. She was an absolute delight. Hope this helps. Train your worker properly. That lady could of patched me through without giving any information out. She is just not smart and lazy.

We always stay at Hampton Inns due to their normally clean and updated conditions. However, this one was far below the standards. The hallway has a terrible smell, like a combination of urine and smoke. Our room smells better, but, is very dated. The carpet has multiple stains and cigarette burns. The mattress sinks to the center. There is no nightstand beside the bed, so, had to set my phone (with alarm) on the floor. Bathroom has mold in the shower and floor tile grout. Went to take a shower and there was no hot water....although we discovered it did get hot after running it for literally 15 minutes. The room was warm when we walked in...we like it cool so we turned the AC to 66 degrees, but, it was still warm the next morning. It was blowing air but was not cold air.
We were told they are undergoing renovations, but, they obviously haven't started on the 2nd floor yet.

We arrived late at night landing in BHM airport with a baby back in June 2025, therefore we booked this hotel for a night's rest before driving back home. We did request for a crib in the reservation for the one year old baby and to our surprise, we arrived in a musty moldy dirty room at 12midnight without a crib. Calling down to the front desk, the lady on night shift honestly don't give a damn about the client. Explaining it's unsafe for a baby to sleep in the same bed with us, we asked her to check if a crib is available so we can grab it ourselves. Didn't return our call and didn't check. We packed up and left the hotel at 2am and drove back despite being very sleepy. Next day I called the Manager explaining the situation and she was hard to locaate. I had to call like 3 times to track her down and she had the worst attitude ever... cutting me off and not sounding apologetic at all. I demanded a refund and she didn't even apologize. I got the refund but I hope upper management see this review. I do business with Hampton inn of Pelham, Hoover, Atlanta and Tuscaloosa and this one is even worst than then any shady highway Motel i've been to. Hampton Irondale, do better!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted, and not just a normal greeting, this Lady(Kris) gave us a greeting like we were family that came for a visit. After we checked in she told us about all what they had to offer from breakfast to the pool. She (Kris) walked with us to the elevator and she pressed the button for us. As we walked in our room it was very clean and comfortable. I began to unpack because we were going to be there for 4 days for work. I received a text from Kris asking if everything was good and if there was anything she could do for us. I was in awww with this hotel. The next day I received another text asking me to rate our stay so far. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the shower had no pressure, I hated giving it a 4 because the hostility was a 10. I got a reply back saying they are so sorry and they will fix the issue. After work we got greeted again by Kris and she told me they are giving me another room to check out to make sure it had water pressure first. We went in the room next door and the shower was great. So we changed rooms. This room was also a great room very clean and comfortable. So if your looking for a room in this area you have to go here. Your family here!!!!
