They are just finishing renovations and the rooms are really nice and very spacious! Everyone at the hotel was so friendly! And I loved learning about the history of the hotel and city.

I liked the vibe it feels like a classy old hunted hotel (nothing weird happend) but I was kinda of expecting to run into Jack Nicholson wearing a tux, LOL. I loved the place. Spacious rooms, excellent service, great breakfast setup. There's no parking lot, but you do have the option of valet parking.

Hotel staff said that the water needed to run for 15 minutes first. This did nothing to the temperature of the water. We have had maintenance come up. They told me the was as hot as it gets. So I never did shower here and couldn't wait to leave. The elevator had a mind of its own. All the other guests complained that there was construction and had they known they would not have stayed there. Other people expressed that one person in there party got a hot shower and the other got a cold shower. The building is pretty. The location is amazing. But the most basic amenity isn't available, a hot shower.

It's just not in a very good l location. There is a bum encampment literally right across the street. It's funny reading other people's reviews stating it has an excellent view because the only thing we could see was homeless people sleeping right next to our car. Oh, you have to park in the street as well and pay a meter. We were supposed to stay three nights, but because of the bad location, we left after night one even thou we didn't get a refund.
