This message is for the hotel staff and manager. As a team member, I called this property this morning to cancel my reservation to avoid no show fees. I missed the window to cancel and could not do it on my own, hence why I called. Mind you, as a team member, I do understand the process. Brenda proceeded to tell me that she could not do it because it was a team member reservation and that I had to do it myself or call corporate. Due to it being past the window, I could not do it myself, which is why I called the property. She should know this as a fellow team member. Anyways, I called the team help line who were very nice and proceeded to tell me that what Brenda was saying was in fact not true. Team member rates can be cancelled by staff members at the hotel without having to call corporate. Nothing new as I have done this several times before being a fellow team member. So, Brenda, you and your manager should get a call regarding more education on cancellation policy. Thank you for your time this morning. Have a great day.

Elevators were out during our stay and did not get fixed. We had to find another hotel due to elderly not being able to use stairs. WARNING this hotel has a long history of frequent elevator problems. Do not stay here if you need or expect elevators. You could be trapped if you can’t use the stairs. They only have one set of elevators

Stayed one night here on the way to Florida. Rooms are clean amd comfortable, the breakfast is good, and the staff is amazing. Very accommodating. Mrs Brenda was the best part of our stay. She was very kind to my children. She turned on cartoons for them to watch while eating breakfast and even gave them coloring books to take with them.

I stay exclusively at Hampton inn because they are always clean and staff are friendly. That does not apply to this location. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This was the worst hilton branded hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you have an issue don’t bother reporting it to the front desk because they will not help you.
