This stay was quite pleasant. The breakfast included an omelet-making station that made great dishes. The rooms could use eating utensils, but otherwise all was well.

We were not told construction was going on and they put us on the floor with the construction. Both Friday and Saturday all we heard when we were in the room were hammers, drills and loud workmen. Tripping hazard with bunched up floor coverings in the hall and the hall smelled bad. The lights in the bathroom sometimes worked and other times they didn’t. No hot water after 2 quick showers. Breakfast was ok but orange juice was watered down, muffin stale, but omelette was good as was the yogurt . Front desk staff was engaged in their phones when we came in and looked unprofessional (sweats and jeans). The woman we dealt with was nice though. Just wish we’d been warned about the construction before we checked in. Room was clean and bed was comfortable enough. Not impressed with the looks of the room. Husband was in construction and he said it was the worse paint job he’d ever seen. It was nice that they had charging stations for our EV. All in all, we’ve stayed at ES for the last time.

This is a great hotel to stay at. Clean, convenient to the Hoover Met, and the included breakfast is great! The ONLY complaint I have is the water temperature and pressure in our shower. The water was barely warm at best. I was told while checking in that this room had been recently renovated, so I think the water temperature issue is an easy fix and just needs to be adjusted by their staff. Room 804. Other wise, we always enjoy our stay here.

I stay there about 10 weeks a year for my job. The last 2 stays were very disappointing: I forgot a cap in my room the previous time I was there. I called the hotel 30 minutes after I checked out to explain the situation and ask if they could keep it for me until following Monday when I would be back. I was told they send someone to take the cap and put it to the lost and found for me. The following Monday, I asked about it and was told there was no cap found in the room... I wasn't very pleased but maybe I forgot it somewhere else. The cap has no value except that my daughter offered it to me. This past week, I was back at the hotel and had the "pleasure" to see an employee leaving the building with a teenager waering my cap on his head (it's a personalized one so there was no mistake). My point is not that much for the value of the cap than for the fact that you obviously can't trust employees who access your room.
