The Hampton Inn Auburn hotel is located at the intersection of I-85 and US Hwy 29 (Exit 51), on the south side of Auburn, Alabama. Our hotel is located next door to the Auburn Softball Complex and across the street from the Auburn Links at Mill Creek golf course. Surfside Water Park and Ruby Tuesday's, along with other restaurants including fast food, are also located near our Hampton Inn hotel. The Colonial Mall is about 15 minutes away.
We have just completed a total makeover of our guest rooms, added a fitness room, and updated our lobby/breakfast area.
The Hampton Inn Auburn hotel features three stories, 104 rooms, interior corridors, elevators, an outdoor pool and a fitness room. Guests visiting Auburn, Alabama will enjoy our complimentary hot breakfast, high-speed wireless Internet access, local calls, and cable TV. For a nominal fee rollaway beds and fax/copy services are also available. Cribs are available at no charge.

During my stay, my father went to the front desk because the room key would not work. Instead of verifying his identity, reservation details, or even confirming the correct room number, the staff gave him a key to a completely different room that was occupied by another guest. This is a major security and privacy breach. My father unknowingly walked into someone else’s room. At no point did the staff ask for ID, my name, or any reservation information before issuing a new key. When I reported the issue to management, they did not ask for my name or room number and did not seem to take it seriously. Guest safety and privacy should be the top priority at any hotel, and this situation made me feel that neither was taken seriously here. I want future guests to be aware of this issue before booking.
