- BSBluebonnets and SunshineJan 2, 20265.0I really liked this hotel. The room was clean and the AC worked great. The breakfast included scones, waffles, sausage, egg omelettes, grits and more. They even had to-go goodie bags by the door with breakfast foods of you were in a hurry but wanted a nice breakfast. The hotel is a 5 min walk from a nice casino if you're into that. The hot water in the shower heated up immediately and the hotel was quiet.

I spoke to the night attendant last night about the heat not working properly in my room, I informed her that my room was extremely cold because the unit was off once I checked in, and even then when I went to my car to warm up the temperature in the room was 52, I went out to dinner sat in the car a little longer and it only reached 60, when I went to bed I had to put the hair dryer under my covers to warm my bed up. When I checked out I made the front desk worker aware of what happened and all she said was ohhh, sorry this was definitely a huge let down..

But the most impressive thing about Ashley is her ability to make people feel welcome. I could tell that she loves her job and the people that she comes in contact with. Besides Ashley being at this property. I can say the lobby is very clean. My room was very clean. I can tell that everyone who works at this Hilton property cares. This is so important in the service industry.
