The owner only acknowledges positive reviews, but fails to address the low rating customers. That's crazy

We had a fine stay, until our truck was broken into. While I understand the hotel is not responsible for theft - the interaction we had with the front desk regarding that situation left a lot to be desired. No apology or empathy was extended to us when we informed the staff and it must be a regual occurrence because the lady was totally unfazed. We would not recommend this property to anyone who values their safety or security of their vehicle or wants true service/support if an issue arises.

Flew in to Anchorage late on 9/28. Delta had a mechanical issue and offered to put me up in a hotel. I was a Hilton Diamond member for about 7 years, and I am generally a fan of all Hilton properties. The person who checked me in inadvertently charged my credit card. She claimed she reversed it right then. She didn’t. I have called 5 times since then to attempt to fix the issue and have gotten nowhere. Each time I get an, “I’m sorry; we will fix this.” I’ve had to resort to disputing the charge with my credit card company.

The hotel lobby was clean, modern and attractive. Room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Coffee make in room. Pool and spa were closed but there was no mention of this on the hotel website. This was one of the features that prompted us to make a reservation there. The manager did say we could use the pool at the nextdoor Homewood Suites but that was kind of far to walk in wet clothes. Biggest issue was noise. We were in Room 338 and directly above the large HVAC unit on the roof of the Lobby. This ran at a high pitch al night long. Couple this with the road noise from C Street and it resulted in a very poor nights sleep.
