- WJWilliam E Ferrell Jr5 days ago1.0I just walked into the Xfinity store on 6th avenue in Huntington, WV and I was not greeted. There are two employees and one customer being serviced and me standing waiting to be recognized. Two employees walked in and they were immediately approached by Adam and I still have not been acknowledged. The employees finally realized I was in the store. The individual that's waiting on me, Adam keeps assisting with the other customer in the store while I continue to wait for him to get back to me. This has NOT been a good experience thus far. Adam quoted a price of $187 and sent me a text to approve the package. I opened the text and the price jumped up to $233.38. Supposedly, Adam forgot to add some taxes. Now it appears the system is supposedly down and Adam can't assist me any longer, so I must come back another day if I choose to still have Comcast. I think I'll go with someone else. Its sad when you don't have very many cable companies in the area. you

Then for 6 months I've been automatically billed 42.08 . I called and received one refund. I checked my account and I've been dinged monthly. It took an hour to get it cleared up with what sounded like AI. . I'm supposed to get a refund for 168.32, we'll see. I don't know how many people have been scammed by this ! Simply outrageous. I'll be contacting the BBB. DONT GO WITH XFINITY ! The internet service is crap, and so is the cell service. Unfortunately, I'm new to this area, and don't know anyone to get the best service. I came from a high population, and excellent service. This area is the same company, but they are a COMPLETELY different service. WOW just WOW!

I don't have an account number, and when i enter my phone #, all it get back is s "that doesn't match our records". I can pretty much decide I wont continue with them just based on this. What a hassle.

I have over 30 text messages from them stored in my phone warning me of service outages ( sometimes over 24 hours EACH) The walk-in location was not qualified to help me. They have an unfair monopoly in my town, but not for much longer as Frontier fiber is busily installing their system everywhere and when its activated, its good-bye and good riddance to evil Comcast.
